Took this capture this evening of yet another bright sunny Teaxs sunset, I decided to take this image of the old oak tree on the corner of the lot, to add this wonderful Silhouetted Oak as a bonus to the color in the sky. Hope Y'all like it. !!!!!!!!!

Certainly starting to feel like winter now, but isn't this just the best time of year for sunsets? (Still to early for sunrises tho!)
Sunset at Treator, near Padstow Cornwall. This was the view from our charming B&B. Woodlands Country House Hotel #WoodlandsCountryHouseHotel
A silhouette of trees after sunset from a few weeks ago. This is SOOC, and I'm pretty happy with it (I did play with the raw file, but it only made it worse, so I think I leave it like this). I like how the colours that come out with the underexposure.
Sunset over Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea, New Brunswick. The moored boat is the Thunderbolt, that I captured in several other photos, including one on her way into port.
I drove up the road from my house so I could get a higher vantage point to catch this sunset. Even though it's pretty flat where I live, and the background can be cluttered, I wasn't disappointed.

Sunset by Jessica Millsaps
Every night
The horizon lights up
Swirls of pink and orange
Fading to blue and purple
Few bother to look anymore
At a blessing
That only comes once a day
Each sunset is different
No two exactly alike
Difference flows throughout
While it is the only similarity
Over the ocean
Or through the sky scrapers
Out on the prairie
Or in an apartment
You can still see a piece
A piece of something
Something never to return
A sunset
For the colors are shimmering
For a moment they stay
Only to disappear into change
Change just as beautiful as the last
This is why
No matter where you go
One thing remains the same,
A difference in sunsets
In your very own sunset

SUNSET
Sunset is a universally cherished time of day, as it can mean different things to different people. For some, it represents the end of a long day and a chance to unwind. For others, it's a time to spend with loved ones and enjoy the beauty of the world around us. And for many, sunset is a moment to reflect on the past, and perhaps dream of the future.
This is a low-topped, or "mini-supercell" over northwest Missouri at sunset a few years back. These storms are interesting to me because they are much more compact than traditional supercells but capable of producing some destructive tornadoes at times.
