Tonight's sunset was pretty special, one of the best I have seen in a while. Sunset on a pond in Boulder Colorado.
When I saw this sunset I had to grab my camera and look out for the right spot to shot some sunset pictures.

Flamingos are a type of wading bird in the genus Phoenicopterus (from Greek φοινικόπτερος meaning "purple wing"), the only genus in the family Phoenicopteridae. There are four flamingo species in the Americas and two species in the Old World.
Not sure about this...went out to catch the nice light of the sunset over some nearby fields last night, but had to park in the field entrance (and had my daughter with me who was cold) so didn't bother with tripods and filters. Shot in RAW so I managed to salvage some detail.

Port Willunga Jetty on a beautiful summer evening. The sunset was very beautiful that evening and I managed to capture some very colourful clouds and reflections.

As the sun set over the hay bales in a field over near Crewkerne, the storms passed overhead.
A few minutes earliuer I was getting soaked, so ran back to the car for a few minutes. Then, the sun came out. An amazing show of different weather within a few minutes.
The rainbow was a real bonus.
