Under the canopy of the woodland area I stood and captured the sunlight illuminating the beautiful leaves as they turned their Autumn colours
By running this image through Photomatix and Lightroom in a specific way, I was able to enhance the sunlight through the mist without creating excessive amounts of noise. At the same time, the light and colours through the leaves on the trees was perked up, giving these parts of the image a really attractive finish too. I tried to end up with a look of "believable realism" to the final image, despite what was, for me, quite a lot of tinkering.
It sure was nice to see the sun come visit us again yesterday after so many days in a row of clouds, snow, ice etc. Here, the early morning visitor is laying across the small mountain that I see past my barn. It has yet to bring much light to the barnyard itself, but the anticipation was great! LOL I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend time to the max! :)
The weather app said "clear" so I woke up realllly early and drove for the sunrise...Along the way it lightninged and downpoured so hard it was scary. Then it got sunny, and now it is cloudy again.
We were in full shadow very early when sunlight fell on Mt. Anne - South West - Tasmania - Australia.
