Here I am, walking along the Sol Duc River in Olympic National Park, whistling a happy tune, and minding my own business when I happen upon one of the coolest displays of sunlight piercing the fog through the forest canopy I've ever seen!
Frantically grab camera out of bag. Check.

Did manage to get a few shots of it, but it was literally totally gone 30 seconds afterwards!

One of the canyons in the Blue Mountains, with a window of 20 mins a day where the sun comes through, you have to be there at the right time.Plus the abseiling and long days walk. But well worth the effort.
