I have rarely been disappointed with photos I've taken at Reed Canal Park. The sunsets are usually fabulous, and the fountain adds extra interest. On this particular day, some gorgeous clouds were thrown into the mix.

Sunlight amazes me after months of rain and fog. This is a slinky, "a precompressed helical spring toy invented by Richard James in the early 1940s. It can perform a number of tricks, including travelling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum, or appear to levitate for a period of time after it has been dropped."

i ' ve chosen the Tele as macro. In manual mode i closed the aperture to a maximum to reduce light and kept ISO as low as possible and than adjusted shutterspeed. Focus was set on the flower of course.
