This image I clicked in the robbers cave, near the town Dehradun in the lower Himalaya, India, it was early in the morning, the air was full of moisture and the temperature was already 30 degree, we entered a cooling small river, what a pleasure in this heat and then I saw this wonderful szene, the whole cave was filled with sunrays, I never have seen such a beauty before...
Sunlight breaking through the shade and nailing the clematis stamens perfectly.
Clematis - 'Sodertalje'. For some reason this particular variety can change it's colour tones quite considerably over a season, from pinkish magenta to full bluish purple.
In order to get sunset pictures, the water taxis I took, speed out to the open waters of the lagoon that surrounds Venice! The sun's glow filled the sky and the water.
I love rain, but seeing sunlight this morning prompted a need to capture little finches in a rhododendron.
Experimented with a subtle, I hope, vignette to lessen the many buds and twigs.

Sundown on the Wadden Sea, with reflections in the landscape, on the salt marshes, green beach, even on the tall grass in the foreground...
