In order to get sunset pictures, the water taxis I took, speed out to the open waters of the lagoon that surrounds Venice! The sun's glow filled the sky and the water.

Taken a few mornings ago. The sky colour was magnificent with this vivid pink colour just before the rising of the sun. It did herald a beautiful, unusually warm day.
