“There is a cosmic river flowing from the Sun to the Earth and to everywhere: The Sunlight, the holiest of the holy rivers! Enemy of Darkness is the best friend of existence! Touch the sunlight with a strong love because light itself made that love possible!”

― Mehmet Murat ildan

This image I clicked in the robbers cave, near the town Dehradun in the lower Himalaya, India, it was early in the morning, the air was full of moisture and the temperature was already 30 degree, we entered a cooling small river, what a pleasure in this heat and then I saw this wonderful szene, the whole cave was filled with sunrays, I never have seen such a beauty before...

Sunlight breaking through the shade and nailing the clematis stamens perfectly.

Clematis - 'Sodertalje'. For some reason this particular variety can change it's colour tones quite considerably over a season, from pinkish magenta to full bluish purple.

The quaint city of Saguenay provided an interesting play of light and shadows on a home staircase.

In order to get sunset pictures, the water taxis I took, speed out to the open waters of the lagoon that surrounds Venice! The sun's glow filled the sky and the water.

Honeymoon Island, Dunedin, Florida

amazing impression to have snowstorm and fully sunny weather at the same time :-)

I love rain, but seeing sunlight this morning prompted a need to capture little finches in a rhododendron.

Experimented with a subtle, I hope, vignette to lessen the many buds and twigs.

Thanks for looking. Comments mostly off...I'm a tad behind in my own comments.

We had our first snow of the year, topped with a little ice.

Sundown on the Wadden Sea, with reflections in the landscape, on the salt marshes, green beach, even on the tall grass in the foreground...

EXPLORE #46

Loved the light on this one and the soft Monet-ish background!

HBW!

When the first morning sunlight resolves slowly the morning mist in the marshlands. About ten minutes later all the mist was gone. Unfortunately the capture doesn't contain all the chattering and quacking of the birds on this morning ☺️.
