Black and White Challenge
No. 4.
Before the hailstones! I took this from the comfort of my car on the road below, it was freezing outside!
The sculpture is called "Suncatcher" and is one of 4 sculptures in the Forest of Bowland and is on Jeffrey Hill, near Longridge.
It was featured on BBC Country File a few weeks ago.
It's not catching much sun at the moment! :)
I've been challenged by Izzy Standbridge to post five black and white pictures on five consecutive days (that's one on each of the five days), and on each of those days to challenge another person to do the same.
This is my fourth challenge.
The fourth person I'm going to ask to take up this challenge of five black and white images in five days is Captain Nikon (hope you don’t mind me asking, Steve, you don't have to do it but if you do decide to take up the challenge, you don't have to do it straight away…)
Cyanotype, partially bleached then toned with strong tea (feel free to ask the details if you are interested in recipe)

ONCE UPON THE *SONNET IN BRIDGY'S PHOTO
I am the languid crystals, the wafting
Of amorphous spontaneity traipsing.
Bursts of bokehlicous geometrie and,
Cascading jewels of passion transcend,
Overtures of blushing intimacy,
Perfunctory kisses, fleeting luxury.
Sunlight caress the colors of rainbow
Sated picture delightfully sigh so.
Mesmerizing smiles bloom unabashedly,
Coaxing coquettish heart from reverie.
Romancing the artist in the poet
Abstract in the impressionism, yet.
Catch me in this photo dreaming of you,
Amorphous syllables, chromatic too.
