These 3-D Tree Of Life Agate Slabs look great as a suncatcher hanging on the porch, over a window, on the wall or adorning your favorite shelf. You can even place a tealight candle (preferably the flameless flicker effect kind) on the back of the stand, dim the lights some and you have a marvelously mysterious effect!

Show your support for the team this summer with this beaded ornament, a heart-shaped, beaded representation of the English flag. It could be displayed with your other World Cup memorabilia, or simply hung in your window for an alternative way to show your English pride.

I created this suncatcher from stainless steel wire and an eclectic mixture of glass beads in shades of red and white. It measures 8cm (just over 3") wide, and is just under 8cm (3") high. This heart hangs from a loop of clear plastic thread, allowing it to be displayed by a window, or in any corner of your home, to catch the sunlight and to add a bit of colour and patriotic, yet girlie, style.

Thank you for taking the time to view this heart.

To create this bat-shaped suncatcher, I first made a framework of silver-plated wire. I then added steel wire and a mixture of glass beads in jewel shades of red and purple to her wings. A heart-shaped purple glass bead and a small red glass bead also hang from her tail. She has a wingspan of 22.5cm (nearly 9"), and measures 15cm (6") tall (without the hanging loop). She hangs from a 7.5cm (3") long loop of plastic thread, which is tied through a wire loop between her large ears.

I was on the phone and kept hearing a noise like a knock on the door and when I got up to look, this robin had a thing for the suncatcher in the window and was trying to fight it.. I went and grabbed the camera and got a bit of it's antics...

Sometimes its fun to do a simple little mosaic between big projects. This is glass gems, stained glass, milifiori and tempered glass on a microwave platter.

This is a detail from "Suncatchers" - a mosaic mural created with 7th graders during the Spring of 2002 in San Francisco. It is located on the side of James Denman Middle School at 299 Oneida Street and is visible to the public. This is Kid Serve and Josef Norris Mural.

Bursting with color and loaded with charm, this bright suncatcher puts a glowing gardenscape right in any window! Whimsically fashioned from curly copper-plated wire and multi-colored stained glass. 11" x 1" x 11 1/2" high.

I did see a ton of dragonflies. Not too many of them were landing. They were very busy buzzing around. I saw a lot of what looked like big blue darners.....and some smaller blue guys too, but it was these orange Halloween Pennants Dragonflies that really caught my attention.

Their wings seemed to sparkle in the sun.

Hurry up summer! I love these flowers~they bloom all over the place.

This little suncatcher measures 7 inches diameter, 18cm.

Suncatcher made of of reclaimed barn siding and stained glass scraps from a nearby stained glass shop. The stand is made from a section of a former awning post made of yellow pine. The green paint is the paint that was on the post when it was harvested from a house in South Buffalo NY.

Shimmering light morphs set to the gentle rays of sun by the end of the afternoon.

A spectacle that happens everyday. But how much of them have you already seen?

This suncatcher measures and large 10" x 10". This is a OOAK piece as is all my work. A beautiful slice of Brazilian Agate is surrounds by glass gems with a violet and amber border. The corners are beveled glass to give a prism of color when the sun shines through.

This is a suncatcher to brighten any room! Very colorful, a seashell in the center and beveled glass to throw beautiful prisms when the sun is shining through.

The suncatcher measures 7" x 7"

I created this heart-shaped suncatcher from annealed copper wire and an eclectic mixture of blue glass beads. It measures 8cm (3") high, and is 8.5cm (just over 3") wide.

This heart hangs from a loop of pale blue ribbon, allowing it to be hung by a window, or in any corner of your home, to catch the sunlight and to add a bit of colour and quirky, handmade style.

July 21st 2015

The girls were eager to do some craft today. First, they painted sun catchers, then trinket boxes and in the afternoon they decorated a marble cake.

kenna and her big blue house ;)

It's 9am at Pleasant Green access and along the Eno River there were a series of large spider webs with the sun coming through them for about 200 yards. Beautiful!

First project after Christmas made with some wonderful glass that I found under the tree.

I finished grouting another one. The glue's not dry, and it's cloudy outside, so it's not as pretty as it's going to be in a few days, but I like it.

Blue and pink splash design fused glass suncatcher

I've found some plain glass sheets of 20x20 cm and tried to use them for making suncatchers in different styles.

Here I used silicone adhesive, transparent stained glass and black grout.

Most of these were painted by me when I was a teenager. My mom recently gifted these to me.
