I'm exhausted beyond words. I'm getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night, no more than that. I'm bombarded with school and homework. Geometry quiz, two sections of history notes and Q&A, and an entire double-page spread for the yearbook all due on Friday, none of which I have started, none of which I have the damn time to do. I'm beat, so bad I want to cry. The worst part is, when I get into my bed, no matter how early or how late, it takes me hours to fall asleep. Hours.

I want a cure.

After a few attempts I caught this fisherman looking as if he were fishing for the sun.

One of those precious moments when Nature writes on your soul with an indelible sense of peace.

22nd October 2014 would have been my father's 66th birthday. He would have loved this.

I think the little splodge of sunshine through cloud at the top is him smiling down.

Sun is so rare at this time of year in central Sweden that when it does come out, everyone goes out to enjoy it.

touch the sun

touch the moment

touch your dreams

but what you can hold

of the sun

of the moment

of your dreams

you should not keep

strew them back

set them free

give them wings

let them reach

the hearts of many

they will be blind

who will fail

to see the gold

in the sun

in the moment

in the dreams
