Voilà! Sea scallops stuffed with thai basil paste and broiled on each side for about 3 minutes. I made some somen noodles and tossed them with a little chili oil and then attempted a little styling of my own... Not my strong point!

okay but not amazing. Could be my fault because I changed the recipe a little, subbing chopped canned tomatoes for tomato sauce. Maybe the sauce would have been a better option? But the whole thing was more labor intensive than I was hoping, which makes me not feel like giving it another try.

All in all, inky's eggplant parm still wins.
