Åter igen regnar matpaketen över Göteborg. Denna gång över Universitetet - Global Studies!!! Det är bara att njuta.
The 2011 Belmont Stakes was the 143rd running of the Belmont Stakes and was won by Ruler on Ice. As in the previous year, the Belmont (the final jewel in the Triple Crown) ran without the elusive championship at stake as 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom lost in the Preakness.
Favorite Animal Kingdom lost his footing at the start and could only muster sixth; Ruler On Ice, with jockey Jose Valdivia Jr., sprinted to the finish ahead of Stay Thirsty.
The wall and skirting board color, against the floorboards. (Walls are Taubmans "Apium", trim and ceiling is "Gazebo White".) My parents accuse me of 'wanting to live in a cave' just because I like dark wall colors. :)

...or would this be too retina-searing?
That's Malabrigo Lace on the left, and handspun Romney singles in the Spunky Eclectic "Orchard" colorway (seriously one of my all-time favorite colorways ever).
What say you, eh?

This is an acrylic color and pattern study featuring robots.
The patterns were inspired by a Color Theory book I found at my Great Aunt's house.
Each painting is 8-inches square and each color was hand-mixed from red, yellow, blue, black and/or white.
They can be hung separately or together in a line or grid from my mounting.
I currently have them hung in this grid in my studio!
