I took this selfie after a long day of school in which I had a huge midterm, an essay to finish, and a 2 hour student organization meeting. When I got home from finishing the last part of my day (the meeting), I took this picture because I was so relieved to be done with everything and my week had become much easier after that. Arriving home and taking my backpack off, I felt not only the weight of the backpack being taken off my shoulders, but also the metaphorical weight of the stress of my day being taken off as well. School is a lot of work but the feeling of accomplishment that I get from doing well and making progress in my education makes it worth it.
