Åter igen regnar matpaketen över Göteborg. Denna gång över Universitetet - Global Studies!!! Det är bara att njuta.

The assignment in class was a figure study from a photo, and while I was looking for one to paint, a Facebook friend posted a photo of himself that was ideal. The likeless is pretty good!

Taken a while ago by my daughter, as I was teaching her to use a DSLR for the very first time (pictures for a school competition). I don't know whether to be proud or annoyed that they're better than most of my pictures, ever!

 

Incidentally she didn't win the competition, but is now thrilled that "...they're good enough to get on Flickr..."

 

I'll say!

 

The wall and skirting board color, against the floorboards. (Walls are Taubmans "Apium", trim and ceiling is "Gazebo White".) My parents accuse me of 'wanting to live in a cave' just because I like dark wall colors. :)

The Rose. Hard to find a good subject out in the yuard with all the rain we have been having in the northeastern US. I found that I like the greens, mixture of yellow and Derwent blue grey that Kate likes. Strathmore cp, 4" x 5" Derwent and Durer pencils.
