IBA - Institute of Business Administration, City Campus, Karachi, Pakistan.

At the time I was at IBA - Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan, it was afternoon, the light being very harsh but at the same time creating interesting shadows and patterns. This attracted me to first time turn on the “Noir” effect on my cellphone and shoot these.

I found it quite easy as I could view it in monochrome. I always say doing black and white on film is very difficult.

Photo study of the 1913-built wooden ferry Lady Edeline.

From the site NSW.environment gov.au:

"The Lady Edeline was one of five double-ended wooden ferries built to a design created by Water Reeks. The ferry was launched in 1913 from the GA Washington shipyard at Balmain, Sydney Harbour. The ferry foundered at her moorings at River Quays, Mortlake, on the Parramatta River, sometime after retiring from service in 1984."

Photo taken at Balmain Maintenance Yard, Waterview St Balmain. September 1979.
