The study hall in the old main building (now demolished) of Wasco Union High School. This was where students gathered before and after school or at lunchtime, particularly on cold or rainy days. It should have been called the social hall. My note on the back of the print says that is Pat Few in the center of the picture.
I made a bowl with paper "fabric, water, arrowroot, acrylic ink, then gouache on the base, then photographed and cropped etc in photoshop, then took apart the bowl and made 2 more bowls and more planets... THE WHOLE SET
Dịp lễ hội Halloween vừa qua tại Hệ thống Trường Mầm non Quốc tế KINDY CITY xuất hiện rất nhiều mụ phù thủy với bề ngoài có chút đáng sợ. Tuy nhiên, điều này không làm học trò ngại ngùng, ngược lại họ là tâm điểm yêu thương của các bạn nhỏ.
Tại Trương Định, khi “Teacher” Dung và Sarah với hình hài kỳ quái xuất hiện, học sinh toàn trường ùa vào ôm cô, xin kẹo, hôn cô thắm thiết không ngại những vết sẹo, màn nhện loang lổ trên mặt.
Trong khi đó, tuy kẹo bánh, thức uống ở KINDY CITY cơ sở Phan Xích Long được pha bởi cô giáo đóng vai “tên cướp biển ma quái” nhưng học trò vẫn chờ đợi được thưởng thức. Ăn uống xong, các con lại túm tụm bên “phù thủy chột mắt” do giáo viên nước ngoài nhập vai để cùng vui chơi, chụp ảnh.
Tại cơ sở Ngô Quang Huy, bà Tiên Hắc Ám Maleficent với tạo hình kiều diễm đã dành trọn vẹn sự chú ý, thiện cảm của học sinh toàn trường. Và những bộ xương đáng sợ, Ma-sơ Nun ác quỷ cũng không làm các thiên thần KINDY CITY Bình Tân ngại ngùng.
Hay những mụ phù thủy ở Gò Vấp, Cộng Hòa, với khay đầy dây rợ, màn nhện nhầy nhụa, mắt kính, mũ đen lạ hoắc nhưng các em vẫn nhận ra và làm trò hù dọa ngược lại các cô.
Là vì các con yêu mến cô, quen thuộc từ giọng nói, tiếng cười, cử chỉ ân cần và cảm nhận được sự an toàn tuyệt đối khi ở bên cô, nên cô với hình dáng nào, các con cũng dễ dàng nhận ra và bám lấy!

No more exams for this study week! But I'm still to come tomorrow - the results for two of the disciplines will be announced. Phew. Somewhat tired.
P.S. I am also busy with getting a visa. So, it seems to be really like that - I am going to Estonia to take part in a conference. Toi-toi-toi.
P.P.S. One of the previous test - I got the paper back only today. Should I say I am really satisfied with the result? Ha! And one more things about me revealed.
