“Particularly with mental health there is a stigma - isolation from the normal relationships. But change is a community project. Healing is a community project.” – John K John, founder of the Biblical Counseling Trust of India. BCTI's courses train church leaders, like these two pastors, to meet the pastoral counseling and mental health issues of their communities.
A Study in Rural Decay. At one time this was a prosperous farmstead. You can see this in the grand three story house. Although the yard is still maintained and the some of the buildings still store lesser used equipment, this Farmstead has about one generation left before it collapses to the ground and is buried under the dirt it stands on. This set will focus on the house, barn, and silo. Enjoy.
As you enter the Study Centre, double doors lead to the message center and fan off to the stairs, the garden, library and meeting room.
18 months and concentrating so hard on the flowers.
I think I may need to re-edit this one, leaving a slight yellow reflection under her chin.
Finally got to see the American Chronicals Norman Rockwell exhibit at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. This is a temporary exhibit available for viewing until May 27th. It did not disappoint!
"Shanghai Cuisine"—Food plays a quintessential role in Chinese culture. Shanghai cuisine (benbang cai) originated in Shanghai and developed its cooking style under the profound influence of those surrounding regions and is a very popular branch of Chinese food. This hands-on course introduces the culinary tradition of many famous Shanghai dishes. The instructor will demonstrate how to turn those fresh raw ingredients and special seasonings into “color-aroma-tasty” Shanghai style dishes.
Study Tip: Look for better solutions to problems
For example, if you don't understand the course material, don't just re-read it.
Try something else! Consult with the professor, a tutor, an academic advisor, a classmate, a study group, or your school's study skills center. #study #studytip
A Visit to Batemans the 17th Century Jacobean home of Rudyard Kipling was a must while we were on holiday last week, this is a photograph of Rudyards study. The rooms, described by him as 'untouched and unfaked', remain much as he left them, with oriental rugs and artefacts reflecting his strong association with the East. Bateman's is very much a family home and very impressive and well worth a visit.

I am so busy with uni right now - I have 3 things due this month and 2 near the start of next month. I'm hanging with my sis and some of her friends tomorrow night, I'm going away next weekend (to hang out with friends and hopefully take a ton of photos) and near the start of April I've got my Wellington trip! I'm trying my best to stay organised and on top of things and I think I'm going to be okay. I'm just looking forward to that light at the end of the tunnel though =)
