That's what it was called back then. Now it's Disney's Hollywood Studios or Star Wars Land or something.
As you know, I love portraits...I find the human face to be infinitely fascinating. I finally got my act together enough to do some studio-style portraits: I've been building up the necessary gear and know-how for some time, and I think I've got a workable system. More importantly, I convinced my friend Raven to do some portraits in my home studio. She is so great to work with: very creative and a joy to collaborate with. We didn't try to develop any particular themes, but just played around with different ideas and feelings. As soon as she struck this pose, I just loved the sense of feminine power that it evoked...so I took like 20 variations on it, and this is the one that turned out best, I think (although it might have been better if my BG light were better aligned).
I have a few more from this session that I'll post later.

Op mijn vrije, maar regenachtige dag wou ik toch productief zijn en fotografeerde deze aronskelken uit mijn tuin. Deze foto werd zo bewerkt om af te printen en in te kaderen.

shot at a starbucks near sevilla metro station on calle alcalá, madrid. we grabbed a seat at a high table by the front window â nothing fancy, just a coffee stop. but the large, semi-frosted glass turned out to be a hidden lightbox. soft, even light poured in from the side, wrapping the subject in this clean, natural glow. no reflectors, no strobes â just the right place at the right time. a portrait that looks like a studio setup, born in the middle of a café.

i've had a few crazy months moving home & studio. Finally settling in...and loving my new happy place! :)

Vanaf 1 januari 2016 is DBS de vervoerder voor dolimetreinen 47615/6 Fvs - Vdm en zal de afwisseling in trekkracht verdwijnen.
Combi's of solo's met 4401/2, 653-05, PB06, G2000 etc. zullen niet meer voorkomen, het is dan DBS rood wat regeert.
Op 7 september jongstleden trok de ongewone combi 4402 met 1102 (G2000) de 47615 over het binnenspoor te Htnc, na enige minuten wachten tbv inhalen IC vertrok het gespan verder zuidwaarts.
Het gebruik van binnenspoor Ut - Htnc door goederentreinen zal per december 2016 beperkt mogelijk zijn, in het kader van DSSU zullen goederentreinen normaal alleen van de buitensporen gebruik kunnen maken.
