In den Kartons befinden sich auf Brettern nach Datum fixiert 365 kleine Besen für jeden Tag von 1999, dem Auskehrjahr des Jahrtausends. Im Foto eine Reihe von Silvester-Raketen-Besen.
The 5th room is the broom-storage space.
In the boxes are located on boards by Newest fixed 365 small broom for every day from 1999, the vesting year of the millennium. In the photo an open set of New Year's rocket-broom.
Pic taken on a random day in July when I was experimenting with lights and shadows. (ok, it was the 18th but who cares :-)
New miniature soft sculptures from my drawings (usually our soft sculptures are huge so this was lots of fun!) I also made soft versions of Jeremy's deer drawings because I love them so much! CHECK OUR ETSY STORE: I have posted two of these little guys up there.
That's what it was called back then. Now it's Disney's Hollywood Studios or Star Wars Land or something.
As you know, I love portraits...I find the human face to be infinitely fascinating. I finally got my act together enough to do some studio-style portraits: I've been building up the necessary gear and know-how for some time, and I think I've got a workable system. More importantly, I convinced my friend Raven to do some portraits in my home studio. She is so great to work with: very creative and a joy to collaborate with. We didn't try to develop any particular themes, but just played around with different ideas and feelings. As soon as she struck this pose, I just loved the sense of feminine power that it evoked...so I took like 20 variations on it, and this is the one that turned out best, I think (although it might have been better if my BG light were better aligned).
I have a few more from this session that I'll post later.

Op mijn vrije, maar regenachtige dag wou ik toch productief zijn en fotografeerde deze aronskelken uit mijn tuin. Deze foto werd zo bewerkt om af te printen en in te kaderen.
