This is where I create. The desk is built in to a little nook upstairs in our bedroom and looks over our backyard. Magical, simply magical.
The Postcard
A postally unused postcard that was published prior to June 1918, although the studio name does not feature on the card, which has a divided back.

Nothing compared to early days working at the studio. the current studio is like an office. small. some screens. that's it. when early days were so typical for metres and metres of wires and cables, drummachines, hardware, mixing desks, effect processing units, samplers, ... today all happens on keyboards, screens and with mice.
La Calaca Press international Print Exchange Exhibition at the Art House Studios in McAllen, Texas, USA.
October 7th, 2011.
Still a pretty humble setup, but it's like an upgrade to business class when compared to my previous setup of printer paper and a bedside lamp. I plan on making some soft boxes for the lamps in the near future.
Right now I'm working on my color calibrations and color corrections. I got a color swatch card in Scott Kelby's Photoshop book, so with the help of the book and help from Lazaro I'm learning how to make my "studio" shots accurate color-wise.
As soon as I figure that stuff out I can upload my fabulous shots of those cool vases you see in this photo (Thanks goes to HamWithCam for discovering them).
