The Divine Ms. M is of course, Mariska Simons. Friend, confidante, mentor ( though she'd deny it) and all around sexy-kitten chick. She and her partner Jasper consented to doing this pic for an up and coming release of mine.

I have this thing about lights and shadows.. as you can tell if you surf through the detritus in my flikr pages. It's certainly no Vermeer but I hope the idea of darkened room lit by firelight, moonlight and dim reflective surfaces comes across. She's perhaps too well lit but personality-wise.. she shines with her own inner light anyway :)

As for the upcoming product, peek at her shoes. They'll be out in a week or so, as soon as I get the sizing for the Maitreya beta correct, I'll get them right out.

"Ted Adnan" in action. He talks, he shows, then the participants follows...

Behind the scene - "Introduction To Studio Nudes" Workshop 7th August 2010

Just in my corner at work. I hope one day it won't be just an additional task at work. :D

Gently sprinkled with pollen...

These are a beautiful soft purple.

The waiting buds only just peeping out.

Summer was slowly leaving us in a flurry of colour.

Named for the shape of their leaves, like blades, gladioli – from the Latin word “gladius,” meaning sword – have a history that spans from Africa to the Mediterranean.

Symbolising strength and moral integrity, gladioli also represent infatuation, with a bouquet conveying to a recipient that they pierce the giver’s heart with passion. How romantic!

Thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

Finally got my old 16'x24' detached garage finished into the studio...so happy now!

strobist: in photo is 2x ABs, one with beauty dish and one with 30"x60" softbox. large reversible silver/gold reflector on far right.

I have walked pass this studio many times and I've always loved the yellow sign that to me gives an analogue Kodak feel. It is not easy making money in photography these days so I do wish the studio well.

Nerd bit: For Ricoh GR3 owner this is the result you get if you crop it to 50mm and the RAW file comes out at that setting.

End of Nerd moment!
