My first ever attempt on shooting a star-trail photo. Taken from my balcony.
Will definitely try it again :)
My first attempt at star trails. Taken at our local National Trust property, The Argory. I didn't know before i went that a wopping great floodlight was left on all night or that there would be a marquee erected on the right hand side of the building.
On vacation I could find some time for myself where there was a nice clear night again. The holiday started well!
I keep learning every time, you keep discovering!
My first attempt at star trails. Shot in the Trough of Bowland over around 80 shots. It was longer but dew on the lense and two cars passing by ruined several shots.
The brighter stars you can see are the Plough with the Polaris just off the top right of the shot.
In the lower left of the image you can see a series of faint lined running almost vertically, these were shooting stars.
My settings for this were f5.6, 30 second exposure, ISO 400 for 100 frames.
