My last attempt at doing this was basically a quick test of the startrails software, so I thought I'd go back and see if processing at a larger resolution would make a difference.

I should note that the bright area to the left is the southern Milky Way, and the two smudges at 11 and 2 o'clock positions are the Large and Small Magellanic clouds

My first attempt at star trails. Taken at our local National Trust property, The Argory. I didn't know before i went that a wopping great floodlight was left on all night or that there would be a marquee erected on the right hand side of the building.
