One of the masts of "Passat", a famous steel barque and trade ship built in 1911, framed by a recent development of holiday homes right by her final mooring place in Travemünde, Germany.

...quite literally. As you enter, the place has only five rotating chrome stools neatly tucked under a lunch counter on the right covered in circa 1970 orange Formica that's worn through to the wood beneath from nearly 50 years of elbows and there's only about a foot of space between the stools and the wall to the left. It's tight quarters.
They've been there on the main drag at 448 1/2 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, since 1945. The menu is simple, native Kunzler brand dogs served with a variety of toppings on steam warmed buns, Good's brand potato chips from PA Amish Country, and a choice of soda's in the can and bottle on display in a glass-front refrigerator located behind the counter. I had the sweet chili on one dog and sauerkraut on the other. The sweet chili was reminiscent (to me anyway) of the chili served over spaghetti I've had when in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Their prices are reasonable but, heck, that neon hotdog glowing over the door is more than worth the price of admission.

Angel-la is determined to squeeze into the box---she managed to get it, found it a bit too small and got back out.

" he was possessive, she knew that and it was one of his flaws but a flaw she'd accepted him for a long time ago; So the thought that for a moment however brief he didn't possess her, that she didn't belong to him was a hard one to swallow. "I'm trying Lex.. if my heart didn't still belong to you... you'd have already been kicked out of that door... I want forgive and forget... help me do that... help me fall for you again... that's gonna take time... "
Alexis: felt that weak grasp and slight pulse of a squeeze. It wasn't much, but it something and right now...she'd take whatever she could get from him. While none of it was her intentions, she'd found herself persuaded into that stupid theory that the grass was greener on the other side and damn if that wasn't a lesson hard learned, but nevertheless....learned, burned, and embedded into her brain. It was horrible to see someone that you cared about, loved with every beat of your heart, hurting. It was even worse when you were the reason for their pain. She never wanted to hurt him and sure that was something easier said now, than stopped before it even happened. But, as pathetic as a excuse, as it might have been...she was human. A guy, someone completely different than what anyone would have ever expected for her..caught her attention and held it briefly. But...as the saying goes... Treat her like a Queen, she'll treat you like her King...treat her like a game...She'll show you how it's played... Jack...Jack had always made her feel like a Queen. Sure they had their ups and downs..but she knew who spoke to her soul.. he wasn't a 'fun time'....he was a 'long time'. "I promise you..." she whispered, as he gave her head a little more of a notable squeeze. "I won't let you give up on us...I won't give up on you...I am where I belong...I know that now more than ever and I'm so sorry that it took this for me to reopen my eyes and realize what I've nearly lost for absolutely nothing..." She felt that way, lost. She had been completely lost, while in Cali. Lost touch of who she really was and what she actually deserved. But after a few childish mishaps and dealing with a narcissist who was sure he could find better. She woke up and realized her worth and that sure as hell wasn't it. "Jack...sometimes two people have to fall completely apart, before they can fall back together..." quietly she'd edge herself up near his lap and attempt to curl her arms around him in silence.

We were trying to get out the door, but first she insisted on giving Puddy a goodbye squeeze. Then I had to pull my camera out and well, long story short, we ended up being late.
That iconic little gem of the Christian faith , the Albert St Uniting Church , built 1889 with its classical Gothic features appears to be squeezed between the city's high rise towers .

Redux 2016 my daily routine includes grabbing 3 or 4 oranges, slicing them and squeezing a glass of Vitamin C to start the day.
In yesterdays photo of the volcano in Antarctica, I talked about sweet-talking my way into the cockpit to capture it. It's not easy to sweet-talk your way past the US Military, by the way, but I'm super persuasive I suppose. Anyway, that was only half the battle, because, as you can see, squeezing in there to get a good shot out the window required 100% of my yoga skills!
I was really hoping for an image of a swallow in flight this morning. They're very busy this time of year and very fast. I just couldn't keep them or get them in my viewfinder though. My consolation prize: I thought this was pretty cute - 3rd Barn Swallow squeezes in between the other two on the launch pad railing at the lake edge.

This is Stony Pass road when I was coming down it. On the way up I met a full size pickup in this area. We got by each other, the other driver was really great. Thus the name tight squeeze.
Trying to squeeze out - The night before fledging these two little ones were both trying to peek out the same hole. This was my biggest goal for shooting the Screech Owls this year. This happened about 45 minutes after sunset and the scene was very dark. From about 20 feet away, I could not see the owls and had to use settings on my camera I would normally avoid.
Narrow House is an artwork by Austrian artist Erwin Wurm. This monumental sculpture is an absurd version of his parental house (16 metres long, 7 metres high and only 138 cm wide). Enter the house and discover how the interior from the bathroom to the kitchen has been squeezed and distorted completely. Narrow House is standing in the Old Church which gives a extraordinary contrast between the majestic gothic architecture with the stained glass windows and the distorted bourgeois prefab house.

I know people say all the time they don’t like post processing, but for me it’s a way of squeezing even more out of the moment! And when cleaning dust spots, I get the additional benefit of seeing things that my eyesight isn’t able to!
