Our Daily Challenge: "Environmental/Candid Portrait"
The challenge was to photograph a person in their usual environment, such as their place of work. While it may not be obvious (and actually, I hope that it isn't), it took a fair amount of work to put the focus of this image on the server squeezing the lemonade, and to make him the "subject" of the photo, while also showing some detail about his environment and workplace.
So I am also submitting this shot for Sliders Sunday.

The additions over the last century left his little house squeezed and neglected. It has since been restored.

While strolling on the embankment in De Panne you can still admire some beautiful old houses squeezed between the blocks of flats.
These are named "Kaatje" and "Poupette". They were protected as a monument in 1995.

Ripley has not had nearly as many photos since Boo arrived, but today is all about her - she is my big squeeze (I give lots of hugs) and Boo is my little squeeze. This is Ripley out at sunrise this morning - the light was awesome and so was her expression. Such an amazing friend to have. <3

I walked along the beach path and could hear a radio but had no idea where it was coming from. I then caught this view out of the corner of my eye. I walked back and took a shot.....

Dettifoss 20210720
Dettifoss is very impressive to see with a width of 100 m and a height of 44 meters. The name Dettifoss means something like “the collapsing waterfall”. When standing in front of the waterfall you know why it is named Detifoss.
It is said that Dettifoss is the most powerful waterfall in Europe with possible volumes up to 500 m3/sec, extremely powerful. The average flow rate is 193 m3/sec.
Dettifoss is located in Iceland’s second largest river Jökulsá Fjollum (206 kilometers) and is fed by the glacier Vatnajökull. The muddy water squeezes itself through a narrow canyon with an average volume of 193 m3 per second and ends in the Arctic Ocean. The area is part of the Jökulsárgljúfur (glacier river gorge) since 1945 and is one of the four National Parks of Iceland.
Dettifoss was recently featured in the opening scene of the science fiction film Prometheus (2012).

After squeezing my way down narrow alleyways, and through people coming and going from this "Instagram Photo" location, I worked my way over to this beautiful location to capture the Insta crowd in action.

Life’s been a bit busy of late what with one thing and another. We picked the onions the other day and they’re now drying, some have started to sprout or trying to squeeze out. Could really do with a bit of breathing space so when I saw the onion flowers I knew what was needed a good quarter of an hour behind the lens. Thanks for stopping

A former modernist industry building where metal and aluminium frames for windows, facades and doors were constructed is being deconstructed. A worker is using a blowtorch to remove the metal support structure of the roof.

'Squeezing out sparks' is a pivotal album of Graham Parker and the Rumour. Together with the American and UK punk albums it turned out to be the way out of the stagnation and complacency of rock music of the 2nd half of the 70s (think symphonic and prog rock).

Hi flickr folks, this view was shot from the new landfill at Rijnhaven. The landfill is ruining one of the best evening shot spots of Rotterdam (Kop van Zuid with reflections), but we'll get some new/different options now I guess - like this one. Oh well...
With the indispensable HOYA HD MkII circular polarizer to bring the sky back in and kill a lot of reflections.
