Another peak at my item for the upcoming event four corners. Our item is based off of the theme "Bikes and Spikes"
This is to show that the earrings are fit for any form of woman, it compliments them all. They are bold, and they are fierce.
The earrings will be available at the four corner event on 12/17/11.
You can discover more information about the event from the event organizer, Emily Kaestner as it gets closer, here fourcornerssl.wordpress.com/

Saw these three really cool Hot Wheels cars at Rick's Vintage Shop and Antique Market in Hernando a month ago and couldn't resist taking a photo to share on flickr one day :) Rick's is located in the old Love's Sports Café beside the Goodwill Bargain Barn, which you guys probably know better as the Home Appliance Store of Hernando-turned-temporary Kroger Hiring Center: the space's first permanent tenant in years, open as of early this year. As far as the merchandise goes, I really like this store; there's a whole lot of cool retail-related items! (On our most recent visit, we even saw one of the vendors had picked up and was offering for sale a painting – not retail related, mind you! – that we had donated to Goodwill just weeks before, which means they definitely have good taste ;P …and that we could've made a good chunk of change if we had had the means of selling it ourselves, haha!) For overall presentation and customer service, however, I prefer Commerce Street Market.
Anyway, that's not the point of this post! I'm uploading this to let you know that I've put up my first blog post of the summer, a table summarizing the Albertsons stores in Mississippi which was compiled by Albertsons Florida Blog. Please feel free to check it out here!
Lastly... if any of you are familiar with Blogger, and know how to embed a table or PDF, please leave a comment below to help me out! I tried posting the table to the blog first as HTML code, but the information stretched beyond the template formatting I've got in place. Then I attempted embedding it as a PDF, which I ultimately got to work out via OneDrive... until I realized that it would let everyone see my real name, which I don't want! I thought about just editing my name on OneDrive, but found that silly to do just for the sake of my blog. So at the very least, let me know if you can read the table; I want it to be clear and easy enough to understand, especially for the effort AFB (and I) put into it...
Oh, and yes, I did buy the Albertsons truck in the middle XD Stick around for another Albertsons-related photoset to kick off my summer 2017 uploads this weekend...!

I posted a photo of my bicycle with a huge truck yesterday. This is the GPS image of that (20 mile) ride! My "Tour of Fayetteville".
I'm very glad I switched to using cellphone technology instead of bicycle computers. This image was very easy to create. I have also uploaded speed, cadence and heartrate data into a spreadsheet and produced line charts of them together.
Pretty cool stuff!

The East Somerset Railway (ESR) runs trains from Cranmore station to Mendip Vale station and back on a 5 mile round trip along its Heritage Railway line.
Along the line, there is also a halt and Cranmore West Station which is near the Sheds.
There is ample car parking at the Cranmore end of the line on normal running days so I started there.
The day I went during the sort of main summer holidays, there was only 1 steam Locomotive running although another was at the sheds and could have been steamed if thought necessary.
Here, at Cranmore Station, my last photo on this visit to ESR is of 46447 which has just powered the return journey the Steam Train I have a day rover ticket for and which I joined at Cranmore West station after visiting the Sheds.
46447 is a Ivatt designed LMS "Class 2" 2MT 2-6-0 loco.

A horrible wet day on the East Lancs Railway (ELR) where I went on a trip from Heywood to Rawtenstall and back.
Normally I would get out to see and photograph the run round at the far end of the line but it was so wet I just stayed in the carriage.
Here, at Heywood Station, after the trip, 60009 "Union of South Africa" needed a fill up of Water.

Cream - I Feel Free
The challenge for Saturday 10th September is ‘numbers’. ‘Numbers’ is the name Apple gave to their spreadsheet app on iPads, and I did toy with the idea of using that in some way.
But then, as I started on these puzzles in my newspaper earlier this week, it struck me that with some luck, a following wind, and a pot of coffee, I might in a little while be looking at 162 numbers? (Or, if you prefer, looking at the numbers 1 - 9 eighteen times each?) If, that is, I didn’t get myself embrangled, as I frequently do!
>> I use the term ‘embrangled’ for when I’ve discovered I’ve put the same number down twice in the same row, column, or 3x3 box, and in correcting that error I’ve merely created another error elsewhere in the grid, and in correcting that one I’ve created another - well, you get the picture! So I give it up in disgust and turn to something useful, such as worming the cat (we don’t have a cat) or realising that the grass is beginning to grow again after the drought but that it’s now too wet to cut after the recent downpours! <<
I don’t usually complete the ‘Easy’ puzzle in my head, and I don’t even attempt it with the ‘Medium’ puzzle, and the scattered jottings you see around the lower grid are the merest hint of the usual mass of calculations covering most of the rest of the page! Anyway, I managed not to get myself embrangled this time … unless you spot any errors I’ve missed? A final word: working on these puzzles is, as I’m sure you realise, vital mental exercise to keep my ancient brain active … unless it’s a displacement activity for when I ought to be doing something more useful, as above!
== As always, your comments (and faves, should you be so inclined) are greatly appreciated! ==

A Day Trip to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway for the Saturday of a 3 day Steam Gala,
As Usual, the Main Aim was to get as many Steam Train Journeys to add to my Steam Powered Journeys Spreadsheet which is my modern "Trainspotting" record.
There were 2 Visiting Engines and some of 5 of the Home Fleet Locomotives scheduled to run on an intensive timetable.
Here, on my first Steam Heritage Railway Visit of 2022, 52044 has been the motive power for the journey back down the valley to Keighley Station.
52044, is a Barton Wright and Aspinall designed and Bayer-Peacock built 0-6-0, originally for the L&Y as no 957, later renumbered 12044 for the LMS and 52044 for BR.
52044 was the locomotive used as "The Green Dragon" in the 1970 film "The Railway Children".

A Photo from Day 3 of a 10 day 9 night "Railway Tour" of 13 Museums and Heritage Railway Locations. The Main Aim was to get as many Steam Train Journeys to add to my Steam Powered Journeys Spreadsheet which is my modern "Trainspotting" record.
The Swanage Railway runs trains from Norden via Corfe Castle, another station and a halt to Swanage Station or the other way round so there is some very pleasant scenery to look at and photograph when travelling along the line.
There is ample car parking at the Norden end of the line so I started there.
The day I went during the sort of main summer holidays, there were 2 trains running both hauled by Steam Locomotives.
Here, Bulleid Pacific 34028 "Eddystone" a SR 4-6-2 loco at Swanage Station has run round the train which recently arrived and is in position at the front of the train I will travel on as far as Corfe Castle Station.

A Photo from Day 1 of a 10 day 9 night "Railway Tour" of 13 Museums and Heritage Railway Locations. The Main Aim was to get as many Steam Train Journeys to add to my Steam Powered Journeys Spreadsheet which is my modern "Trainspotting" record.
Here, at Shildon's Locomotion Museum, there was a static display of 60103 - "Flying Scotsman" which was the first locomotive recorded as having reached 100 m.p.h. for part of its journey on 30 November 1934 breaking the world speed record at the time.
Nigel Gresley designed 4472 later numbered 60103 was originally an A1 Pacific 4-6-2 was one of the first to have a Corridor tender which enabled a crew change on long journeys and this enabled it and similar Locomotives to run non-stop between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh Waverley Stations, a distance of about 390 miles.
Later in 1947, with a larger boiler added Flying Scotsman was reclassified as an A3 Locomotive.
"Flying Scotsman" was recorded as having travelled over 2 million miles in service of LNER and later BR.
The locomotive also went to the USA and Canada and toured between 1969 and 1971.

Prunus incisa (Fuji cherry) growing in the walled garden at Rowallane. Proving popular with the bees at the moment - they work it for nectar.

You know that feeling when you've created a spreadsheet, then spent hours entering data from a paper copy? Then, after a few hours, you think "that's not right". So you investigate, and find out that you haven't been given all the sheets? So now, you need to go through every month, checking if there is missing data?
And you lose the will to live?
That.
I needed a break from the computer. I had a cream cake for afternoon tea break, but needed to wash up first.
I've got another task now, so tomorrow will be yet more data entry. Oh, and there is no elegant way to eat a chocolate eclair!
7x7ft 8-bit Raccoon Mario rug!
This was Andrew's birthday present that I finished on July 3rd.
Each pixel is represented by one 3.5in crochet "Granny Square" (typically used for blankets/throws). There are 386 pixels that make up Raccoon Mario.
The same day I watched a youtube tutorial for the squares, I went and bought tons of yarn and got started on this massive project. Initially, each square took about 12 minutes to make...by the middle to end of the project, it would take about 5 minutes each.
An Excel spreadsheet was made that detailed the number of squares needed for each color, and formulas were added so that I could keep track of my progress.
I figured this would take well over 1 month to finish if I were persistent.......but nope!
DONE IN 15 DAYS! (13 to complete all pixel Granny Squares, 2 to sew all of them together)
I would bring yarn and make Granny Squares at work during my lunch break, then go home and make more. So I'm estimating this took approximately 120hrs to complete.
Here he is next to my Question Mark Block Ottoman, which is a 15x15" cube constructed out of semi-glossy vinyl fabric that I cut & sewed over the period of 3 days. : )
These will be featured in Nintendo Power in a few months!

Here, on my first Steam Heritage Railway Visit of 2022, Taff Vale no 85 is double-Headed with 52044 for the journey up the valley from Keighley Station. towards Ingrow West and to Oxenhope Station.
Taff Vale no 85, a Riches designed and Kitson built Class 02 - 0-6-2T locomotive.
52044, leading the Double-Header up the hill away from Keighley Station is a Barton Wright and Aspinall designed and Bayer-Peacock built 0-6-0, originally for the L&Y as no 957, later renumbered 12044 for the LMS and 52044 for BR.
52044 was the locomotive used as "The green Dragon" in the 1970 film "The Railway Children".
