I have always thought that these tilted power poles would make a nice photo. Looks like it was an old telegraph line by the railroad. I finally stopped to try my new Nikon Z 50. Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. 27 October 2020.

I visited the Thingvellir National Park in Iceland in a late morning. Even though it didn't rain, the weather was very gloomy and drizzling at times. I walked around the park looking for inspiration when I saw this view before crossing a bridge. The reflection and the colourful foreground attracted my attention. I took a single exposure feeling unsure if it would turn out to be good.
It wasn't an image that got me feeling excited on first sight during editing. But I remembered what I saw when I took the shot. After the usual tonal and colour adjustments, I decided to make it look more dramatic by accentuating the light and shadows. I also added a split toning to create a cooling effect to the image.
Thanks for viewing and have an awesome day! =)
