Contemplo ruas, pessoas e pedras, entre ficções e esquecimentos, inspirado no poeta, talvez, percebo as sombras dos gestos de outros, a poesia do crepúsculo, um desassossego.

Contemplo calles, personas y piedras, entre ficciones y olvidos, inspirado en el poeta, quizás, percibo las sombras de los gestos de otros, la poesía del crepúsculo, una inquietud.

I contemplate streets, people and stones, between fictions and oblivion, inspired by the poet, perhaps, I perceive the shadows of the gestures of others, the poetry of twilight, a restlessness.

Sometimes it is a monochromatic kind of day, with poor visibility, blowing snow, not a sign of sun or life and an icy outlook.
there are moments here in northern Ca where life can seem so Rockwell. A moment when there's no talk of politics or religion etc....
Sometimes less is more!

After being dry for the better part of the summer and fall, there is now water again over the falls. The sign has faded and someone will have to redo it!
Sometimes we can not change what exists around us. These things are simply there, and this city within grows beyond view. It rises as the golden sunshine and haze bathes the concrete and glass...
Sometimes all that's necessary is to arrive, point the camera and click... A Lovely highly simple reflection on Lake Quinault. This is one of the highest rainfall areas in the world... Go figure!

Now I am considering my art in these days as part of a big “photo-diary from the other side” or maybe the project “Closing Time”. It seems that the way from North Venice to North Korea could be short and fast. But I have the unique opportunity to show the life in the country which floats away at full speed in some other dimensions. The newest example:
In Tomsk, a court fined a man 30,000 rubles for "silent support" of an anti-war rally.
“Taras Maksimovich Kulikov, being in a group of citizens who had gathered for a rally, realizing that those gathered were united by a single plan to undermine confidence in the decisions of state authorities […], expressed tacit support for the illegal goals of the event and solidarity with active participants in the illegal public event,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile in Moscow, the court fined Dmitry Reznikov 50 thousand rubles. Reznikov came out with a poster, which was literally the following: "*** *****" (in English - “** ***”).
I’ve discovered the superpower to feel the war by the measure of the pressure which I’m experiencing, leaking of the energy and so on (and the war is right here in Russia as well, and we aren’t even deep in the rear; the appearance could change, but its essence is the same, insane).
That’s all for today and with the series “Sometimes I feel like a motherless child A long way from my home”. I have a lot more. I just feel that not posting everyday is better. Am I right or wrong about this, what do you think?
I was hoping to go somewhere and take self portraits, but two things happened. A my boyfriend has my tripod and B it's snowing and raining =[ so I took some photos by placing my camera on a chair on top of my dresser. I used natural lighting. I am starting to place around with the gradients.
I received my acceptance letter to new paltz! YAY! and although there is a blizzard out I am going with my boyfriend upstate to windham to go snowboarding...I think. hopefully.

Sometimes it's hard to get that image when you have a photographer on each side of you going for the same shot. For tonight's sunset at Strangford I had victorgrattan and edward.graden for company.
Sometimes it's fun to go back and re-edit pictures that you took when you were 16. I'm seriously craving some creative picture taking time. Focusing on class and graded photo projects can really take the creativity and fun out of making art. My goal for this upcoming break is to take photos just because, with no reason other than to marvel at the beauty and goodness of God.
I am happy with this image of a Bumblebee on a Marigold. Most of the time they are okay images, this one is better than okay.
