This is a bottle of JD, but no ordinary bottle, Its mellowed twice. Once before and once after distillation, which makes it a very nice tipple. I know there are a few of my contacts out there (Mentioning no names…. Dave) who are rather partial to a sip of JD so this is for you.
If your interested… You should have read the Exif…. Lol

Hi everyone! I thought to try a "solarized" or inversed type of post processing.
"How do you call your loverboy?
Come here loverboy
and if he doesn't answer
oh loverboy"
From the movie Dirty Dancing, which happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time.
Well, today I thought I would do something from one of my favorite movies, so this is what I came up with..I only wish that I were as skinny as Jennifer Grey..it would make a much better photo, I think. Anyway, this may be my new theme for a week, if I can come up with enough props to take these type of photos. Anyway, it was fun and I needed to do something fun, because I haven't heard from my husband yet this morning and I am starting to worry. :(
Ground-level shot (literally, the camera was resting on the sidewalk. Hard to frame under these conditions and so the image was tilted. I liked the way the Park Hyatt tower nosed into the corner and cropped to emphasize that.
When it was done, I found the tilt a bit disturbing. My solution was this inclined framing, which also provided ample room for a title and singature. I'd be interested in comments on how it works.

For this assignment, I was to use lines, a broke mirror, ropes, etc. to create a fractured image. I decided to go with the broken mirror image.
I found a neat photo of what looked like smoke in the tech forum. The instructions said that to duplicate it, I should fill a container with water and drip food coloring in it.
I decided that I should take a cosmos from my garden and weigh it down with a fishing weight and then try it. The effect wasn't what I had in mind in at all, but the photos that I took while adjusting my focus were neat all in themselves.
I took one of them, framed it, adjusted the background for exposure, and here she is. Just one more time that I decided to try something different.
Something a little different. In Aventura Florida a couple weeks ago for a trade show. After all my meetings that day, grab my camera and wandered the grounds.
It was 90 degrees out, but there was a slight breeze..it was great to feel, but not great for taking photo's! lol I shot a lot of different Palms, but many where distorted due to the wind.
Be well all, and stay cool out there!

When we passed this on the trail, I told my husband it looked like these two trees were intwined and I told him I wanted to take their picture and I already had a name picked out for the shot. Well, I changed the name a little but here I am posting this shot just like I knew I would. I swear the tree on this side has a face in it. Can you see it?
Looks ready to go on a moonshine run.
