Fascinating to see what light does and how it looks when you tilt, shift and bend light rays shining through objects in nature... Trees, flowers, windows...
Unpredictable results of every camera shot is part and parcel of the whole experience - beautiful to behold when the conditions are just right.
P.S This IS NOT created with software, plugins or manipulated to create blurs - if you ever see a print of these abstracts in real life you will clearly see this comes from camera, technique and lots of trial and errors...

I spotted this house while out for a walk. It's modern and compact and I just loved the way the owners decorated the tiny garden with trees and plants. Blackrock, Dublin. Best large.

Second day of August, I packed up Jonathan and picked up his friend Jackson and headed over to my husbands Aunt's cottage. It was a very peaceful and cool day at the lake.
The center island beneath an old sasanqua tree. This is undergoing a rejuvenation. I plan to uplight the multitrunked sasanqua on the left, which will silhouette it from another vantage point. A white two tiered fountain will be planted with white vinca and hosta seedlings as they sprout. Note the white spaths of blooming peace lilies.

some days ago i flicked through my archives in search of some pics i forgot, something different, some new inspiration....
i stumbled upon some old pics i shot "from the hips" during our holidays in turkey and i have to admit i didn't like them that time but now i like them very much. i think i need to do this from the hips, relaxed and carefree typ of taking pics more often...

Took the camera out to the yard where I have multiple bird feeding areas set up. Was hoping to see something different. I was not disappointed. This little female cardinal is sporting a unique white head. She certainly stands out among the others! She seems to know that and keeps closer to the foliage than the others. She really enjoys playing in the spray when I turn on the water sprinkler.
