Even though there's barely room for her Natasha insisted on sleeping here after I put a wall hanging and pillow case on this chair.

thanks everybody for the nice comments and favorites.

an interesting story if I may: I went back to this place I've shot many times before mainly because I wanted to "borrow" a few of these chairs to have my kids sit on for family portraits...and also because I was with a new friend who hasn't shot here before.

My other friend was telling me that we've basically "shot all that there is to shoot here", and she was bored....as I was crouching on the stairs lining up this shot.

It just goes to show that there is always something new to shoot, even in a place you've been a bunch of times. How ironic that my favorite photo I've done in this school came when somebody was telling me that there is nothing left to photograph.

:)

never did this, something new hahah....aurora and maleficent finally made an appearance after 7 weeks of bump in the road...they travelled extensively around europe before finally coming to asia !! it was a bit frustrating tracking them...alls well ends well :)

whenever I try something new--a new hairdo, a new dress, a new blouse--I never quite know how it will work until I wear it under "battlefield conditions." I have been surprised both ways--sad disappointment, and unexpected elation.

Yutong E12LF YK66CBC on hire to Lothian Buses seen this evening on Route 1 at Clermiston having a break before heading back to Easter Road. 13th June 2018.

Have been redrawing and painting some of the kaijyu series done last year in hope of coming up with something new. It has given birth to this Gembo fellow...Check out those lugs.

The do say that everyday is a school day as every day we learn something new ~ well I'd never heard of Dada art until Rand put up his challenge for, today!

Here's a very weak attempt at a little "dada art!"

Stay Safe and Healthy Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!

The last image in this series from Baker’s Lake. I’m sure there will be more at some point. This is a great location. I’ll have to come up with something new tomorrow. I am in a bit of a try spell right now when it comes to making new work. Sub-zero temperatures are not great for outdoor photography.

I learned something new today. I made this collage on my phone.

Made the coasters a couple of weeks ago, today it got a little cat label.

something new

Hi all, don't forget I now have a brand new flickr site for my photographs. If you haven't added me yet, then what's keeping you? Goto www.flickr.com/photos/northernsoutherner for more uploads of my recent wondering to Liverpool.

I finally caught one of the new Siemens Chargers that Amtrak acquired for long distance service today. A seven hour late Empire Builder rolled west through town behind the AMTK 306. Under normal circumstances, the eastbound Builder would be passing through at about this same time.

i love all my contacts so much and really ask for your forgiveness, i haven't commented much lately but hopefully my havoc life will calm down a little soon...Im so pooped out....falling to sleep all the time and lack of energy, have no idea whats up with me. So please forgive me xxx

For Window Wednesday.

Better late than never...I didn't think I would be posting this week as I had an accident with my Macbook last night. I fell asleep with it on my lap and a cup of tea in my hand...yes, you've guessed it, the tea went all over the Mac. Dried it off as much as I could and put it in the airing cupboard until tonight and luckily it seems okay. I won't be doing that again in a hurry!

This was a shoe shop for many years but closed down and is re-opening as a burger bar. This sign really caught my eye. HWW everyone.

Going to test out some of my drawing techniques for anime eyes.

This is an HO scale scene and its one of the first photos I took using this new medium. I am enjoying making these models and scenes a lot and have a lot more in the works.

To give you an idea of size, the basketball court is held up with a toothpick.

All the lighting is balloon lights and I used a fog machine.

Am working on new eyes at the moment. These are one of the new colours. Will be released at the Sci-Fi con.

There are also eyes I'm working on for another event (To be confirmed)

They came so quickly! Their painted-on lashes aren't as strange as I previously thought. In fact, they're quite stunning and the starry spots in their eyes add quite the fabulous flare!

Oh, also wanted to mention that the quality of this new series is on par with the first wave of LPSBs, unlike the Colorfully Cute collection which is somewhat flimsy.

"When I was a child I tried to sail away to sea

The ocean symbolized adventure, romance and mystery

The sea holds all the secrets of man's mortality

Great men come and go, but the sea lives on eternally

Some men are shallow, others are deeper then the sea

But all men sometimes show emotion and feelings for humanity "

I was in Alberta for the week! It was my first time leaving Ontario I had a blast!! This was in Jasper National Park, it was beautiful! So much wildlife, so much nature, so many mountains, and no cell reception XD

I created this wedding card for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Group Challenge, Create Something New (#9). Thanks for looking.

Whoever thought of this was a genius. Pure genius.

Here we have a Stagecoach Enviro, which under Leyton treatment has been repainted into a post-privatisation livery including the original stagecoach logo and routemaster-esque moquette!

She has been such a sleepyhead lately. Not sure what's up. Trying a little different processing as well. I need to switch it up every now and then.

I look like a dork, but I don't really care :D

this is barely edited, I just messed with the curves a bit

Something old because the lighthouse has been there way way longer than me. Something new because, despite the many shoots I've done of this landmark I've never captured it quite like this before. Credit must be awarded to Mick B (Northumbrian Blue) for draging me down here then suggesting this viewpoint, and I'll have to say I prefer his comp to mine.
