Somebody got a new toy! Me! Just delivered this week. It was about time for an upgrade since I took over 30K pictures last year alone on my D7000. We will be traveling again this summer and I wanted to get familiar with the new body before we take off.

B2 Super Battle Droid concept art for Lit's comic book thingymajigger. The original design didn't seem all to menacing and definitely was begging to be 'umphed,' so I took the liberty to give it some actual umphy-ness.
ALSO
I have been building, just so you know.
I got a fancy new camera and its super exciting. I'll try to have something new up soon.

The shooting took place, but through the lens are not always professional models. No, there's no problem with that. On the contrary, I am very happy that clients are not afraid and come to the shooting for the first time. I like to watch their positive emotions.
⠀
If the pros are clear, then what about the newcomers? Obviously, they can't come up with 15 poses in one minute. Yes, and in some cases, if they remember how to breathe from fear, it's already good. 😅
⠀
View various poses on the Internet 💻you can, and even need to. You may find something interesting. But just memorize them, and put the model exactly to the point is not worth it.
⠀
Trying to make an exact copy, it will take a lot of time. Show us an example, and your client will do the same by adding their own. This will make it more natural. And maybe you'll come up with something new.
⠀

Tom installed a doggie door for Miss Maggie. She is a little cautious and has to be coaxed to go through it although it makes for a great window for her to look out. I figure it will take another day or two before she is running through it without fear.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and favs. I really do appreciate every one!

Intimate landscapes often reveal details, structure, patterns, geometry and nuances that are not usually noticed by the casual observer. To be able to show something new to viewers and even surprise them is the most rewarding aspect of photography.

I picked up this leather and suede skirt recently from New Look, then spotted this top on the sale rail. I think they work really well together.

Each time I think... that's it, there's only so much you can do with flowers... and yet again and again, I'll see something new.
Being creative is not a choice... it is an urge in me.

Why not view the set as a slide-show?
Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...
G888-20, with one of CSX's newest, takes a medium clear out of the passing siding from the C&O cantilever at KN Cabin. The sun has just dropped under the clouds, but the rails are still wet from a passing thunderstorm that one hour ago brought baseball size hail and 60 MPH winds. The train itself has been sitting just out of Parsons Yard for two days as it was just leaving when the derecho hit that brought 80+ MPH winds from Chicago to the Atlantic Coast. The storm crippled the former C&O with nothing running over the Northern Subdivision for just over 24 hours and even longer on the Kanawha Subdivision in West Virgina.
For Window Wednesday.
Better late than never...I didn't think I would be posting this week as I had an accident with my Macbook last night. I fell asleep with it on my lap and a cup of tea in my hand...yes, you've guessed it, the tea went all over the Mac. Dried it off as much as I could and put it in the airing cupboard until tonight and luckily it seems okay. I won't be doing that again in a hurry!
This was a shoe shop for many years but closed down and is re-opening as a burger bar. This sign really caught my eye. HWW everyone.
Something New for Me Again Monday { A new baby} { A new Mummy} {A new life experience!}
A surprise for those of you who didn't know yet! I am now thirteen weeks into my pregnancy and feeling good! I am going to share my experience and some pics / scans on my blog Hopefully this week I will get a shot of my growing 'bump' (I really have one already eek!) This also explains why I have been slacking on my 'me again Monday' shots the past few weeks!
HMAM everyone!

How to treat free-ranging roosters. When we were there it was quite hot and only the humans were foolish enough to be wandering around in the heat of the day.
Want something new and different?
DON'T despair. From the opening course to the
last of a meal, Jell-O has suggestions!
Fruit cocktails that stay fresh and plump-fruited till
you serve them!
Entrees that look and taste different and (secret) may be made with yesterday's left-overs!
Salads that are new departures in taste thrills!]
Desserts that look like you've been hobnobbing with famous chefs - yet they're so easy to make, you can make them up while you're thinking about it!
And (how does this sound to your budget?) many
Jell-O dishes are so economical, you'll marvel!
Sure to turn out right, too.
And - count on this - Jell-O dishes have "looks" - gay, sparkling, quivery, luscious, looking, they lend appetite appeal to a meal!

Today the summer-vacation Starts in Germany and that's why I bought the new Spider-man sets.
Carnage, Rhino and the other look cool just Iron Spider not. I used some special pieces to make this suit more like the comic-version.
I hope you like it.
This is an HO scale scene and its one of the first photos I took using this new medium. I am enjoying making these models and scenes a lot and have a lot more in the works.

All the lighting is balloon lights and I used a fog machine.
"When I was a child I tried to sail away to sea
The ocean symbolized adventure, romance and mystery
The sea holds all the secrets of man's mortality
Great men come and go, but the sea lives on eternally
Some men are shallow, others are deeper then the sea
But all men sometimes show emotion and feelings for humanity "

I was in Alberta for the week! It was my first time leaving Ontario I had a blast!! This was in Jasper National Park, it was beautiful! So much wildlife, so much nature, so many mountains, and no cell reception XD

My first glimpse of Lubbers was a delightful surprise! Each morning I walk the same route through my neighborhood. And for the first time, there were tiny navy blue hoppers scrambling along the edges and valleys of a sunlit Agave I photographed the day before.
I had no experience taking pictures of insects in general or these tiny creatures in particular, so their sudden appearance opened up a new world for me. And, I must confess, macro-shooting them day after day made me fall in love with them and their life cycle.
Every morning, I walked past that spot and the fun began! Those little navy hoppers ate and ate and grew larger and larger. Once they finished off the tender green Agave, they moved to a nearby Crinum Lily which looked worse and worse as they devoured it leaf by leaf.
Then one morning I discovered something new… one of my navy Lubbers had turned to gold.. and become much larger! Was this a female and were the navy ones males, or what? The researcher in me went into action, urged on by the fact that lots of you seemed to be curious too!
Like all grasshoppers, Eastern Lubbers molt, as nymphs, through successive stages, or instars. These stages or instars are called nymphs. Lubbers go through a total of five instars of 15 to 20 days each before molting to the golden adult stage. So I had one of my answers… the golden one was simply more mature… a later instar or shed.
I found my Lubbers to be amazingly friendly… coming out to see me when I couldn’t see them… even in the rain. Peeking around leaves to make sure I was still there. Not hopping away when I took their picture, even though my flash was clearly annoying.
And those early shots led to a new set, Lubbers egg to shed. One you'll want to visit to see more about their life cycle and even catch of glimpse of them shedding their skin!
