Snapper at Goat island, Leigh, New Zealand. If the camera had actually been set to rear sync I would have been happy (it can't be changed in the housing). Now it looks like the snapper are speeding backwards.

A juvenile alligator snapping turtle that I nearly ran over on a back road.

I hear - "there's nothing to shoot" so often!

It's not about finding something amazing to shoot - it's about making normal things look nice!!!

A Red Snapper I caught bottom fishing off Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We caught a ton of different species of fish using all sorts of fishing techniques. It was a great time. 20DEC08

The weather may not have been great but that did not stop all the surfers make the most of the swell from X Cyclone Marcia. I really needed a bigger zoom lens to catch any of the surfers.

Juvenile snapper (Pagrus auratus) at dusk at Goat island, Leigh, New Zealand. Not much over 1cm, there's heaps of these around at the moment.

Snapper (Pagrus auratus). Trying for the sunrays in late afternoon. I think I need an SLR.

Snapper shoot Devon

This monstrous snapper (maybe 80cm long?) was straddling the trail next to Wakefield Lake in Maplewood, MN. It was a very patient subject and let me get reallllly close. It was probably on its way to or coming back from a neset.

Yes, that's me. Woburn Safari Park, 1971, using my first camera, which was a Kodak Instamatic 25.

My friend Lee totally abusing a Snapper riding mower. The bush hog was not available and we needed a mown place in the pasture. It did a real good job.

There was much noise and drama but in the end, the snapper continued on its ancient path. The dogs came inside to the a/c and went to sleep.
