I'm not really sure what this snack food is, some sort of pulse, as they say in India. This was taken in the late morning.
Getting ready to enjoy a drink and some snack mix before lunch is served. Hawaiian actually serves at least two different kinds of snack mix. My girlfriend and I didn't realize that until we opened up our bags and noticed that they had different things in them. IIRC, there's a "crispy" version and a "savory" version.

Plane food. On the longer leg, the lunch that we were supposed to get was replaced by snacks that we had to pay extra for. . . Poopyness. But they were actually pretty good.
A snacks come for the late comers to our neighbour's table. It's nice to know when a restaurant doesn't try to rush a seating to turn it over, allowing earlier guests to muse and idle over snacks, or doesn't force guests to arrive all at once before being seated.

Frank loves double-stuffed Oreos, so I thought I'd try my hand at making one. Fun.
I used the chocolate wafer recipe from the Small Batch Baking cookbook, where she makes the Girl Scout cookie thin mint knock-offs. (I'd made extra when I tried those, and froze it, and that worked out well. I just sliced a couple of cookies off the end, and baked them in the toaster oven.)
Then for the filling, I used one cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/4 cup green Crisco, a couple drops of vanilla, and hot water until I got the consistency I wanted.
Ate this snack on the 1st day of our trip to Seoul. Not really any taste really. Crunchy thought 2 out of 5 stars

Tweedside Snacks
Heatherdowns, Scotland hamlet, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, VA
Tweedside Snacks is a simple grab-and-go snack shop located in Heatherdowns. It opened sometime in the 2000s as The Tap Room and the name was changed to Tweedside Snacks in March 2019. The structure originally housed McTavish Textiles, a t-shirt shop that appears to have opened in the late 1970s (no later than 1978). It was later converted to McTavish Gifts and became McTavish Names in the 1990s.
