道路沿いに並ぶお菓子屋さん。
どのお店も、店先で油で揚げて、熱々を売ってます。でも、同じ物をこんなにたくさんのお店で売って、商売が成り立つのでしょうか?

This snack bar looks more like the check in counter at a 5 star hotel. Part of the expense to make this place viable for 50 years.
Later today the public transit system in Berlin will go on strike. Usually the strikes only last a few hours. I think I may have to change some dinner plans. You can always grab coffee, pastries and sandwiches to go in the train stations here. Usually everything is fresh and tasty. Tchibo is a weird chain store in Germany (from Hamburg). They always sell coffee but they rotate the household merchandise they have in their stores. There slogan is something like "something always new". The coffee is always bitter. If we try to give her some, she will use her hand to get it very quickly.
Obviously, she worries about that we retract her snack. :)

This man was waiting with his basket full of home baked snacks to sell to travellers on the train. He was on the platform at Hatton railway station.
Mrs N did the grocery shopping and I had a read and a snack while waiting. The Kindle is so good to carry around. I have used it for over two years now and read 66 books with it.
Wild capuchins eat mainly fruit, but also like seeds, pith, nectar and animal prey including insects, birds, eggs, reptiles, bats and even newborns of the racoon-like coatimundis (Nasua narica). Capuchins are very clever at finding food, both in the trees and whilst foraging on the ground or on clearings.
They have been observed to break nuts open using rocks, with a hard surface as an anvil. This means they know how to use (and choose) tools, which is a very important factor in human evolution and used to be regarded as a purely human skill.
