Home Slice Pizza which I have featured previously opened a second store right next to the original. Called "More Home Slice", the new place is mainly for take out but they also have some stools for a quick bite.
All of the images in this series have been taken in SOCO (South Congress area of Austin) on a single Flickrwalk from over 3 weeks ago.

A picture of Zion National Park at sunset. Since Zion is a Hebrew name for "heaven", I guess that this really is a slice of heaven!
Exciting news! I was checking out my recent activity on flickr and noticed some people visiting my flickr page from a website I hadn't seen before. It turns out that Andrew Landgraf found my work and wrote two scripts that automate some of the processes that I've been using. One that does time stacks, and another that does time slices. I was super excited to find the time slice script, because up until now I've been doing them manually, and it takes forever.
I haven't tried the time stacking script yet, but I've been trying out the time slicing script on some of my timelapses from 2014.
Sometimes the results have one slice that's much bigger than the rest, and I'm not sure why, but this time I thought it made for a neat effect, and it's inspired me to try some different things with time slicing.
I haven't heard from Andrew yet, but I'm hoping we can talk about the scripts a little, and maybe we can figure out this little glitch.
!!EDIT: check out Andrews comments about this, it is not a glitch, it's just how the script works, and choosing the right number of images fixes the problem.!!
This was made from 696 photos, sliced horizontally, using the north orientation.
Here's a post Andrew wrote about the scripts. andland.github.io/blog/2014/12/24/time-stack-time-slice-r/ and here is where you can get the script for free! gist.github.com/andland/efe66240184328f07429
Andrew, you are awesome!
Assorted local cheeses served with local jam - I'm fairly confident the one bottom left was cactus jam as it was for sale in the shop. We had with the local toasted cornmeal and a glass of muscatel wine.
The patio was busy, so we were inside - very spacious and cool with a lovely view out to the patio and garden beyond...this is a blog from Kim in English about a lunchtime visit for the cactus burger - some very nice photos - www.cactlanzarote.com/en/p29827/

Slicing up post-halloween pumpkins has been an ongoing tradition for the past 5 years.
This is the first year where I've been equipped enough to make something really cool out of it!
Unfortunately, (or fortunately), I haven't been able to figure out which of these three is the best and would invite you to leave a fave or comment to let me know which one you prefer!
I think each has their own strengths and weaknesses XD
I highly recommend you check out the SETUP SHOT SETUP SHOT !

"Yeeaaah, slice 'n' dice!!"
A little vignette of my Amish signature magnifigure slicing off the head of a Mennonite zombie, shot in front of a matte painting I created in 2017. My magnifigure has a long LEGO bar attached to his left foot, and I airbrushed it away in Photoshop to create the effect of him floating.
One day, I was slicing a tomato for my sandwich, I noticed quite a perfect symmetry and interesting details of the fruit inside. I wondered it could be more fantastic to view it against the light.
I've been wanting to trial out this technique for a while now, and has taken me a good hour to get it photographed and processed on my laptop.
My wife was really not sure my brain was in the right place when I was taken a photo of the banana then slicing a bit off and taking more photos - It must have looked strange.
Also trialling the watermarking effects we got taught in theBTEC photography lessons this week.

I'll walk ya through this photo.
No# 1 holding Tinker Bells nose
as Mama and Rocky are watching.
No# 1 is looking at Little Stubby who
is underneath muscle nuns porch. I am
also standing on said porch taking this
photo. Might mention it is raining hard.
Also FYI, you're looking at nurse nuns
porch, but you already knew that right?
There's a slim chance no# 1 and I may
be driven out to the nuns place next
week. That my friends will be real
exciting for everybody involved.
If it happens, you will be the
very first to know ;-)---
Now another topic that's been on my mind.
Raise your hand if you remember "Canned Heat."
And most importantly Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson.
Sadly we lost him September 1970. Talented
musician, a wise, intelligent man with his
own style for creating musical lyrics.
Going Up The Country where
the water tastes like wine.
Now admit it, when you listened to this song
you were smiling and jumping all around ;-)-
Thank You.

Natural Still Life
Digital Photograph
Creating this photograph was technical down to the last slice. Cutting the orange into different types of slices was the first part to create a visually pleasing dynamic that can best be summed up as a varied pattern. I used the different slices as well as herb to draw the eyes around the photo. Additionally I used natural lighting to cast light from the upper left hand corner over to the right bottom corner where I reflected small amounts back. This way of lighting proved to be effective in that it contrasted the different elements and gave the glass a soft glow that gives an overall appetizing appeal to the subject.
