Zucchini and carrot slices

This is my contribution to this weeks Macro Mondays theme of slices . A single slice of a Kiwi Fruit with some natural back light HMM

Thin sliced carrot and cucumber back lit propped up with spring onion.

HMM folks have a great day .

This plum tart is made with bottom crust layer of almond past,

another layer of cream patisserie covered with Italian Plums,

baked then glazed with Strawberry glaze,

Heavenly!

I love my vegetables, so had plenty of choice in the fridge :) But I went with a Brussels Sprout, as to me they are a lovely Winter vegetable and today is a wet grey Wintery day.

A Black Skimmer slices deftly through the waters off Howard Beach, looking for a fishy meal.

See It On Black

One of the countless and beautiful waterfalls in Oregon. This little grotto in late spring was simply magical! A slice of paradise in my book. The bright & sunny afternoon created some lovely dappled light but some harsh highlights as well. I feel like I've been working on this image in PS on-and-off since it was taken and it's time to just let it go . . . and move on! :-)

Colors are pretty vibrant now in Northern Japan.

Finally got to be at our second home…even if it’s only for a few days…

 

I’m giving the Voigtlander an airing in this image…my wrist isn’t behaving itself so the addition of the humongous lens weight is making its presence felt.
