These three series of sketchbook scribblings are part of one drawing session one night. I just started drawing off the top of my head. Totally random and left of center for me. I really enjoyed it. Some of the drawings relate to what was going on on the other side of the page, especially with the Sharpie marker stuff.
Sketchbook crisis! Only just now at my half way point of my overall trip and already 2.5 sketchbooks used up. I haven't been sketching as much as previous years but seem to be spreading out more. Have no. 4 waiting for me at my next destination. Off to a church conference next week so not as much sketching ... But need to work slower or just stop sketching!?!?

This is my huge sketchbook (A3 format when closed) for the drawings I do in our Tousled Garden. It was a present from my husband in March 2010, and this started my first sketches in April 2010. I only use it for the garden (it is rather heavy). I really like it because you have the liberty to do many tiny or little sketches on one page or big ones, depending on your mood or on the subject, and that is nice.
I've resolved my travel sketchbook issue with this custom-made leather sketchbook cover from BroLeatherWorks of Italy! See my blog for details:

"I have the shit-hot sketchbook and I won't hesitate to use it." :D
This is a page from my Twentieth sketchbook. I had to cross out people's names for privacy. Don't worry Mr. Hong, the dictator that deposed your father and drove you into hiding until I confirm my account number so you can transfer the funds won't know we were in contact!
Sketchbook one color screen printing. The picture to the left is the cover of the booklet and a sticker on the right.
The sketchbook has 30 pages in total, of which 7 are screen prints on a color and the rest are pages for drawing, pasting stickers, paint or do whatever else I can think of now.
Size closed A5
And so, my little sketchbook (4 ¾ X 5 ¾ inches, 10.5 X 14.8 cm) that I draw in when traveling, unfortunately, didn’t survive my over exuberant drawing habits.
sketchbook,
its been a good year, but you are full now and its time to write with someone else.
this is a standard moleskine sketchbook with a custom lasercut front cover, lasers are fun.
