Costume for restriction of posture/movement:

It forces the model to keep the back straight and elbows united.

 

Skills: Manual creation and Improvisation of a costume that restricts the body movement.

Discovered & Learnt: Experimentation on a 1:1 scale human body. Creation of a piece of clothing from the beginning, with analysis of materials and body positioning and movement.

repurposing this old book as my new sketchbook - tore out some pages to make room for collage elements, then chose a random page in the middle as my "first page" - gesso, collage, watercolour, acrylic, journaling, collage, watercolour pencils... still some work to do before it's finished.
