Nikalas Catlow has put some of my sketchbooks up on his book design blog The apple and the egg. These drawings from a trip to New York are a bit old...
These are my favorite words to say. It's not really dependent on the meaning of the word I just think they sound pretty.

Sketchbook time! Here are some new pages from my sketchbook. Inspired by childhood nostalgia: The cat on top is the character of a cartoon called "Flower Stories" that we used to watch when we were kids. The stamp on top right corner is the cover of a TinTin book in Japanese! But we used to read them in Persian. I was in love with all of TinTin stories. They still bring back childhood memories.

I went out and sketched a few peoplel today who thought, just like I did, that they should enjoy the Autumn sun before winter sets in.
Yesterday Jon mentioned his sketchbook. Here are mine. I hardly sketch in the one top (A5 Notepad) because I'm afraid to mess up the beautiful pages. Here I was about to... but my mechanical pencil refused to cooperate. The blue one is a new one (bought in the US). The yellow one is already messed up but I use it also to write down ideas. Only the little one on top is frequently used (it's a cheap one :o) and the cover is already messed up. So it doesn't matter if I mess up :o)
