Site of the original Dick's Supermarket at 1020 North 4th Street in San Jose, California.
According to a real estate listing, this 14,400 square foot building was built in 1948. It was the site of entrepreneur Dick Yee''s first grocery store. Yee went on to build several other shopping centers in the South Bay, all of which were anchored by one of his supermarkets.

Not my smalls hanging up to dry, but my face masks! I slip them on a clothes hanger and pop it over the shower rail in our bathroom. Solves the problem of how to dry them quickly. Ingenious, eh?

Once envisioned as a centre for downtown for entertainment and shopping, the final demolition of Eau Claire Market, Calgary began early February 2025.
Steel snapped and tumbled to the snow-covered concrete as bulldozers ripped away pieces of Calgary's Eau Claire Market, a once popular mall near the Bow River built in the early 1990s.
The demolition is the next step to clear the way for a future train station that may never come, leaving groups in Calgary concerned the downtown neighbourhood will end up a casualty of political battles between city hall and the Alberta government.
The memorial was set up on the Avenue des Gobelins, Paris 13th arr., the district in which he lived.
