On January 17, 2021 demonstrators with the activist group March For The Dead gathered outside Trump Tower in Manhattan to mourn the 400,000 COVID lost, denounce the neglect by the current administration and call for fundamental, systemic changes to ongoing problems revealed by the current COVID-19 pandemic. eSpanish Civil War 2.0 - Da´REVOLUTION continued will most likely not B´televised. This is a personal series of work that is in progress. A bigger picture will be revealed as the activities of Spanish citizens intending to peacefully demonstrate for their rights against continued austerity measures taking place here in España....Yes, these are everyday scenes & a sign of the times being lived here in Europe.
Surprised to see plastic bag coverings over the cold stuff. I assume it's to save money, keeping cold air contained in these times. The store itself still seemed to be fully air conditioned, not sure.

Inspired by a similar shot by Q. Sakamaki. Note to self: Next time be sure the ONLY key to the work car is safely stuck in a pocket so you don't spend 15 minutes searching the railroad tracks and parking lot for it. :p

Jack1225 prepared a great feast for a hungry Gumby at the 2016 Sign of the Times event on New Year's Eve. The burger and tasty Slime Shake went down great!
This is just raw footage of the corner. I found interesting that for the minute and 47 seconds I took this, not one car provided a handout. Which I'm glad off to not encourage this behavior on this particular corner.
The Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York in Flushing Meadows Park.
Strange sign for a fine summer's day. The only ice was in peoples' drinks.
I rarely take photos of people, especially those who are down on their luck, but this person really caught my eye - for a variety of reasons. I shot this through my rental car window waiting for a stop light on a late afternoon in downtown Portland, Oregon. It was quite shocking as there were people like this at almost every major intersection - including the entrances to the freeways.
Unfortunately, I'm sure we see this in every town and city now. I see it in Hawaii and quite of few of them also have dogs. When possible, I will go to the store and bring back dog food for their pets and a bottle of water. One guy told me his dog was doing better than he was - go figure.

Back to New Cross for our second Covid vaccinations today. I'm still not feeling 100% and I didn't know whether I might have some side effects this second time round, so I had zero plans for the second half of the day, other than sitting/lying on the sofa and playing on the PS4 ;) I've actually been feeling OK, and only seem to have a sore arm (like last time), so perhaps I could have done a bit more, but it was nice to just properly relax, especially after pushing through all week.
Spoke to my Mum a couple of times today, and uploaded a file for her to download (the recording of Hamlet I bought from the Globe for her last year, but which she seems to have mislaid). Other than that, just a big old lazy day.... :)
Palestinians Propose Taking Ownership of Mar-a-Lago
A spokesman for the Palestinian people said on Wednesday that, though they had no intention of leaving the Gaza Strip, they would be “very interested” in taking control of the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.
“Right now, Mar-a-Lago is a mess,” the spokesman said. “The only reason anyone is living there is because they have no other alternative.”
The spokesman said the Palestinians would begin rehabilitating the derelict property by “clearing out all of the stolen documents and returning them to their rightful owners.”
Additionally, the spokesman indicated, Mar-a-Lago would require “extensive fumigation,” adding, “If it’s like any other Trump property, it has a bedbug issue.”

Toronto, Ont. February 28: The final moments before the final closure of David Mirvish Books on Markham Street. The bookstore, one of the mainstays in Mirvish Village for over 30 years, was a place you'd find books on art that couldn't be found almost anywhere else.
