This small flowerbed surrounding the mailbox in our front yard is starting to wake up. Each day when I come home from running errands there seems to be more and more of the pink thrift blooming. And just a few days ago the daffodils sprung up and started blooming, too.
Granted I did take some photos the other day, but just yesterday, before I could post one of those photos, I came home to this, which seemed even more cheerful. And no doubt in a few more days this flowerbed will be even more dazzling. Who knows, maybe more photos will document that, too
P.S. Yes, the pending arrival of spring also means that the weeds are waking up, too. Guess we gotta take the good with the bad. LOL!

Un letrero clásico para una atracción clásica. San Petersburgo, Florida, EEUU.
One of the few neon signs found in the very long Ocean City, MD. The only good thing about the gloomy sky was that I could see it was on.
Singing Sands rock pools, Isle of Eigg.
Foreground rock pool adds the most dramatic of foreground interest to what is probably the most stunning location for seascapes anywhere.

I'm starting to see more and more trees with little green leaves growing on them and the past two days have been warm and sunny. The weather forecast for the rest of the month shows similar weather with the occassional rain storm. It's hard to have a bad day with this kind of external change.
