A sign on one of the flea markets I'd passed by this weekend while traveling to the coast. Appears to have veen recently hung as there was no rust on the attaching screws. The light streak in the middle I would guess was probably caused by leaning up against something while in storage.

Fish sign, Prague, Czech Republic.

A collection of signs found in the Old Railway Workshops when they closed down. They now form part of the permanent exhibition at The Museum at Inveresk in Launceston. Walker Evans would have loved them.

Turns out that this is the roadhouse where they filmed the Delta guys in Animal House taking their dates to see Otis Day and the Knights!

I went to Cypressmede Park to look for signs of spring wildflowers. There were the glimmerings of little shoots here and there. This little Red-backed Salamander was a pleasant find on a warm early spring day.

the weather's been amazing but the days are getting shorter.

Pling, an email. Pling, a text. Pling, a discord notification. Sometimes it's a bit much, isn't it?

The second round of this year’s RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks was about exploring the 'Internet'.

I had barely any time last week for the ROs - some three hours on a Sunday night was all that I could manage. So here's a simple little tale about ignoring the internet, I guess.

Can you recognise all the services that the minifigure is walking away from?

The RogueOlympics require you to stick to 101 elements or less so this little scene was built with a total of 98 bricks. It’s always great fun to work around those restrictions as it’s so different from most other contests, so of course I had to join.

Six more rounds to go, we barely started! Feel free to join in on the fun!

Singing Sands rock pools, Isle of Eigg.

Foreground rock pool adds the most dramatic of foreground interest to what is probably the most stunning location for seascapes anywhere.

I'm starting to see more and more trees with little green leaves growing on them and the past two days have been warm and sunny. The weather forecast for the rest of the month shows similar weather with the occassional rain storm. It's hard to have a bad day with this kind of external change.

needed these signs today.

motherhood & life is getting on top of me, i'm finding tough out there.

Sea eel advertising.

The sign at the lodge where we rented the snowmobiles. It might have been meant for the restaurant/bar. Not sure.

Happy to find some signs of spring despite the colder than average temps.
