One of my favourite signs of spring is the gradual appearance of fresh green foliage on the deciduous trees. This image was captured in the National Trust gardens of Lanhydrock, with post processing limited to reducing highlights and desaturating the green and yellows. Thanks for viewing.

I first noticed this building in the winter. I finally tracked it down again. At night the neon lights up.

Another of the many funny translated safety signs posted at tourist locations throughout China. This sign as posted on at the entrance to the shaky suspended foot bridge at the entrance to the Shibaozhai Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the northern bank of Yangtze River, to the east of Chongqing.
Compass arrived in Saratoga in a March snowstorm. Finally we can see the ground again, so we packed outside for some fresh air, latte's and cupcakes!

Uyuni Salt flats of Bolivia
I had a chance to shoot aerial photos of the area during the first morning lights.
It is part of the Altiplano of Bolivia in South America. The world's widest,highest salt like on earth. Altitute is 3.656 meters, and 10.582 km2.
The brine is saturated from sodium, lithium and magnesium chloride in water. They include unusual and fragile coral-like structures and deposits that often consist of fossils and algae.
It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar

My wife is a very stubborn person and for days she resisted attempts to get her into hospital. Yesterday she gave in and is now getting proper treatment for pneumonia and two broken ribs.

Not long after entering the walk along the north side of Thomson Marsh, we come to a sign indicating that the land was donated around the turn of the current century, as a park, to the City of Kelowna by the Thomson Family. Their farm still exists; we can part of it through the bushes left of centre in this photo.
This was taken down by the river yesterday .These geese was like they could read the sign because they walked up to it and walked away LOL!! Have great Sunday all hugs!
