One of my favourite signs of spring is the gradual appearance of fresh green foliage on the deciduous trees. This image was captured in the National Trust gardens of Lanhydrock, with post processing limited to reducing highlights and desaturating the green and yellows. Thanks for viewing.
Another of the many funny translated safety signs posted at tourist locations throughout China. This sign as posted on at the entrance to the shaky suspended foot bridge at the entrance to the Shibaozhai Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the northern bank of Yangtze River, to the east of Chongqing.

Another sign, this time in Shepherd's Bush on the Central Line, in West London, not far from Olympia where I was that day.
Although it's midwinter and the weather is cold/wet/windy, there are signs of life in the garden, including one of my favourite plants, the Bottlebrush! It's not the first time I've taken a photo of this plant for Flickr, but it is the first time this year(!) and it is rather early for it to flower!
A good photography to me has always been like a friend. It keeps me company, comforts and inspires :)
Two of the first signs of springs in the northern interior of British Columbia... some green in the grass and the return of grizzlies.
The grizzly bears den higher up in the hills but come down to lower elevations to eat weeds and grass in the spring. As the vegetation and dining choices change, they follow their stomach back up in the hills and later in the year they feast on buffalo and other berries.
