One of the few neon signs found in the very long Ocean City, MD. The only good thing about the gloomy sky was that I could see it was on.
One of the most iconic signs in the world and American culture, the Hollywood Sign is certainly a popular tourist attraction and one that is a must see landmark. This photo was taken from the Griffith Observatory that looks all over Los Angeles. This too, is an amazing place to visit as the landscape visible here is truly awe-inspiring.

As a career sign guy, I couldn't resist the signs of Paris, where neon is much more common and contemporary than here in the States.
Eye-catching sign. Was the lettering painted that way on purpose or did the painter have an off day when he did the job?

Saturday Self Challenge
I know it is probably a bit early for some of you, but I need springtime in my life so much! So the next challenge will be Signs of Spring
And I haven't forgotten about you who live in the Southern Hemisphere; show us Signs of Autumn.
This is the time of the year when weather can change rapidly, so hopefully you can spot something that tells you spring/autumn is around the corner by next Saturday! ;-
This challenge would have ideal two weeks ago when we had a week in February that was wonderful and very springlike. Sadly this week we’ve been bombarded with storm after storm, going outdoors has not been an option.
Stuck with what to do, I initially settled for a photo of a bunch of daffodils bought from the supermarket. This was going to be my image until I spotted (during a brief period between the heavy showers) that the trees on the opposite side of our valley are just starting to change colour and show some signs of growth.
Having failed on a another project, which was to capture a magpie building her nest, I decided to take a photo of the trees and blend them with the daffs to produce this. Both shots taken without stepping foot outside the house.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
There's not much going on in the garden at the moment - just lots of greenery! But this pieris is starting to show signs of new growth.
blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?
