Every sunrise reminds me that the world cannot be taken for granted – a sign of light that shows me how precious every moment is, precisely because it never returns.
In the Time of the Virus, I am reviewing my earliest Flickr uploads [2008 forward] hoping some are worth a second look.
seems like a lot of signs for a village with only two streets. and since I grew up in the East where all roads have either a route number or a name, the concept of 627 streets in a rural area hasn't quite sunk in for me.
We left our mark in Watson Lake's Sign Forest. The forest was started in 1942 by a lonely soldier, and today there are around 100,000 personal signs. These signs were put up by visitors from all over the world. Some are license plates, street names, and handmade plaques like ours, whatever works.
The sign very clearly states Footpath Only - No bikes, horses or vehicles. Perhaps tractors are excluded
So I asked the two snails I was following if they were allowed on the path because it is a "FOOT" path.

This is Whixley Field Lane which passes Whixley Field House on its way to Score Ray in North Yorkshire, England
