I've been watching this sign decay for a while now and it seems that whenever the light is perfect I don't have my camera and when I do have my camera the weather is horrible. Snagged this one through the windshield during while it was snowing out. Huntmar at Cyclone Taylor

Hwy 2 south is the Alaska Hwy and Hwy 4 is a continuation of the Richardson Hwy to Valdez.
My table sign is made out of a poster frame. It took some doing, but I figured out how to get it to stand up on the table without blowing over in the wind.
On the left are the 8 steps to obtaining a Citizenre Solar Electric System. The 6 well-known bullet points are in the center, and on the right side there are 25 things people can do to help the environment. Some folks asked me for a copy of the list, but I didn't have any printed out.

When it opened its doors in 1932, the Paramount was one of the first movie houses in Boston to play talking motion pictures. As the area deteriorated, the once-thriving theater had been relegated to being a run-down porn house as part of the “Combat Zone” and closed down in 1976. Recently, the city and Emerson College lead a dramatic restoration of the Paramount to its former glory, with the marquee lighting up Washington Street with over 7,000 bulbs. (#10 of 100 in the Boston Signage Project)
Of course, the abandoned tacky religious theme park has a tacky abandoned religious sign!
I needed a wider angled lens. It says "Holy Land USA" but I had to cut the USA.

Next time, I'll try and make sure I photograph the sign from the same spot and focal length! Went out bowling for a bit this afternoon/evening.

I should hope that some of these doors open onto offices and other staff only areas; otherwise, well, they certainly put a lot of money and effort into creating atmosphere just to house a few ramen restaurants.
But what a great job they did!
