The people I asked were not confident in the description of this sign in the kitchen. It doesn't look like the person is sneezing because one of the arms is clutching the stomach.
Okay so having a gatefold Yes album (of dubious quality) hardly qualifies me as an old hippie (I'm much too young anyway). Still, I believe in peace and harmony for all. Added to MSH for Rock paper scissors (prog rock, paper gatefold sleeve, scissor peace sign). :)

Often-repurposed sign, Webster Street, Dayton, Ohio. I get "New & Used Furniture," "Shell" and "Super Shell." There are a few other letters buried under the background, but I couldn't piece them together. Kodak T-Max 400 film, Holga 120N camera.
Here's another attempt at a night shot with my crappy point and shoot. I couldn't help but notice this ghost sign while walking back from my friend's house who lives on the 1800 block of Milwaukee.
One of the local dojos. I love their tiger. “Kampsport” = “martial arts” (“kamp” is actual “fight” or “struggle”), “selvforsvar” = “self-defense”.
I never trained any karate or aikido myself, although I do have a yellow belt in judo, from back when I was I young man.
This sign is near Ubley Warren, Charterhouse way on the Mendip Hills in Somerset near the old Lead mines.
I could just imagine it in the Lord of the Rings..I had to take a look...what is 'Nordrach'?
Well it was a grey cold day and the path was awash with deep puddles and mud and in places it was washing over the tops of my already wet hiking boots so I turned back....what a shame. I think they're could be trolls down there!

Why did I take a picture of this? I don't know, really, other than the fact that it's so nicely hand-lettered. You don't see sign quality like this much anymore. Snapped at a storage facility in Rosemead, California.
In 2002 the local Greens fully embraced the May "Marijuana March." Here John and Mike work on signs in the Gert Town warehouse. We finally found a use for all those old Nader/LaDuke signs!

I laughed out loud when I saw this sign on a building in downtown Savannah. It's actually a sign for a burglar alarm.
