It is a sight commonly seen in Japan

How do you look in your eyes?

This almost didn’t happen last night or early hours of this morning. A sudden change in the weather conditions at the site we had originally thought of going to catch our first glimpse of our celestial friend in 2018, led to a equally sudden change of plans drive out to Fort Griffin, a historic site about three hours west of Dallas.

Thanks to my friend Wisanu Boonrawd who drove us there and back while his wife Sasi NaHm kept him company and my other photographer friend Nat and I nodded off in the backseat.

Luckily except for the bitter cold, the sky was mostly clear and there were no other photographers to “coordinate with” and deal with on coming car headlights etc. The place was peaceful as usual. The Texas Longhorns that call this place home were happily chewing cud in the dark while packs of Coyotes howled in chorus in different directions from time to time. An occasional Skunk and jackrabbit made sure we were aware of their presence. We did not have time for more than a couple of compositions and the uncomfortably cold conditions forced us back home with the help of another Starbucks Dark Espresso keeping Wisanu awake at the wheel.

For this image, Low Level Lighting was employed for lighting up the Sutler’s Store ruins and the foreground. Dim LED panels on tripods one to my right and one behind me were supplemented with another face down inside the ruins.

Fort Griffin, now a Texas State Historic Site, was a US Cavalry fort established 31 July 1867 by four companies of the Sixth Cavalry, U.S. Army. SUTLER’S STORE The sutler, or civilian merchant, located at the fort sold settlers and soldiers a variety of canned foods such as tomatoes, peaches, oysters, and milk and other supplies like candles, gunpowder and ammunition. Most of the sutler’s profits came from settlers and buffalo hunters, since many soldiers relied on their rations and preferred to spend their wages on liquor and gambling.

can anyone guess what this is? 😂😂😂

a cui si deve dare la caccia, e scovare sotto i travestimenti delle sue storie.

What do you see, Nessie?

A philosophical meditation on pregnancy, parenting and medicine....very creative...I loved it!

Just a record of a very unexpected, and exciting, sighting of bottlenose dolphins at Montrose beach, 15 May 2018 (some really close in, just in the waves breaking onto the beach). It also happened to be the first day I'd taken my long lens to the beach, because I was hoping to photograph the terns.

It was really difficult to know where they were going to pop up next, never mind find them in the camera before they'd disappeared again, so I was pleased enough just to get them in the frame, and it was a bonus that one was in focus! I sent these images to the Sea Watch Foundation, who were kind enough to reply immediately and confirm the ID of bottlenose dolphins.

My Canon Eos 7D hung around my neck throughout my visit but was scarcely used. I fired my pocket camera much more. At least here its lens barrel proved useful as a prop for a visual pun.

I spent about a week cycling around the Faroe Islands. As I rode along the way to Saksun, I was suddenly struck by a terrible blizzard. When it finally opened up again, the whole valley showed itself in all its glory.

Benched in Southern California

It seems like a long time since I've seen large butterflies, like this Swallowtail, around here. Right after I grabbed this shot, another butterfly joined this one and they flew off together. A welcome and beautiful sight.

Day trip from Sedona

when I cannot see.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and don't lean on your own understanding. In all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your way. [Proverbs 3:5, 6]

Okay, this was a total inspration. Thanks to Alexandria Lomanno's Stretch out to reach the stars (78/365)I might have a new set. Please please please look at the notes on this shot. I had not known that the angel on my door was actually in the shot, but mistaken, it was there for a reason. The angel symbolizes the Lord watching over me/guiding me when unable to see on my own. "Trust in the Lord..." the verse says, and that I shall do(:

It's been more then a month since my last my update so here a little catch up from me. Well basically school has totally took over my life as usual, in which I been working hard to get ready to do my senior project. Today I finally took the afternoon to take some fall pictures near one of our parks. The weather was really nice and its good to be behind the camera again.

Couple of my friend are planing this big trip during fall break to travel across Tennessee, I am pretty sure I gonna take some pictures during the trip. Really excited that this is my first long road trip and plus TN look amazing during fall especially in the mountain areas. Hopefully I can get some nice colors range.

Have a great week ahead! almost friday!

excited to visit everyone's stream soon!
