Sight to city of Viña del Mar from Valparaíso. Viña is part of Valparaiso Metropolitan area and has 350,000 inhabitants. In summer season is a mandatory destination for thousands of tourists and is also well known for their music festival in February (halted due to Covid 19 pandemic). This picture was taken in 2018.
My first sighting of one of the "new" CEFX SD9043MACs has 106 leading blue 130 and 651 out of Silver Bay with empties for Babbitt. They picked up two side dumps at SB, likely headed for the shop. NSM also has maroon 122 on the property and they are used as mainline power in support of blue 130 and 133.
The aim of yesterday's short walk was to have a look at an old Yorkshire Water company sighting tower
A rare sight around this area (Bearsden) - a number 60A bus! Taking my life in my hands standing in the central reservation of Maryhill Road though I once did similar on the Champs Elysee. Not much difference.

Winter pink skies, freezing cold and snow-covered (birch) trees... And Nature acting as a balm on me.
I'd just missed a most amazing sunset sky but pressed on down the beach anyway to catch the afterglow . As I often do ,I became fascinated by the
backwash of the breaking waves as they retreated down the wet sand , picking up the colour from the sky. There were no filters, just as slow as I could get the shot. It was a Precious Sight, by Richard Hawley, it always is.
Another photo of the beautiful female leopard that ran alongside the road as we were driving along. We stopped the car and she came up beside the car and hid behind a bush and began watching some Impala on the opposite side. They spotted her and she decided to just sit and wait. There were no other cars around for quite a while, so a wonderful sighting where we had her to ourselves for photos.
Nobbys Head in Newcastle, NSW, was first sighted by a European, Captain James Cook on 10th May 1770. A pier which took 38 years to construct by convict labour joined this island to the mainland. A lighthouse is located on the headland. Today there is a popular walkway up to Nobbys Head. It lies at the entrance of Newcastle Harbour.
I love the clouds in this image!
So long waiting for her....

Formosa Beach - Torres Vedras - Portugal
Formosa is located in the southern part of Santa Cruz, bordered to the south by the Amoeira Beach Amoeira and north to Guincho Beach.
Forming a small but very nice and cozy bay surrounded by lofty and rugged cliffs, is a very sheltered beach that protects swimmers from the cold north winds, making this beach frequented at all seasons of the year.
Beach served by an extensive, but narrow but narrow sandy area, is a beautiful bay that invites for a paused and relaxed swim.
Due to its location within the urban environment and, being endowed with various infrastructure and beach facilities, it becomes convenient for all Santa Cruz residents - way walk to the beach.

A moment to pause and observe keenly, before the energy flows again. Willow playing in the water at the Mosman Park beach.
WILD BOBCAT
I finally spotted one! I was expecting something twice as big. But, pretty kitty, I wish I had one for a pet.
15 minutes before our plane left the North, this fella buzzed us while we were relaxing in the sunshine on the deck- so we followed and got a few shots in! Nice!
Laura says this is too dark and it looks like I flashed him but it's the sun!
A nice couple allowed me to photograph their pup jumping into Lake Dillon. I emailed them a number of the shots, and picked my favorite of the bunch to post.
I ran in to this guy in the middle of one of the busiest streets in Stockholm.
Herr Marchi is usually shooting with analogue gear, but this day i caught him using Nikon digital paired with a Sigma zoom.
