Mine arrived yesterday and I must say that I am very happy with her.
Her hair is very stiff (like concrete! ;) but the style is very nice and the gel used is good- you cannot see marks from a hair net, it does not flock and there is none of it on her face.
While some fellow collectors find the fashion and especially the shoes and jewelry in combination with the fluffy dress too edgy, I must say I love it. I mean, hey, who really wants another Sunday dress with flower print for their dolls?? One of the reasons why I nevr got a Tonner doll is that their ensembles are mostly way too conservative for me.
The trees of Lake Louise are always an amazing sight to see, and by far my favourite time to see them is at night -- when you can look up past the snow-encrusted branches to see the stars glittering above. Add in a moonrise to light up the trees and a halo around said moon and you get a memorable sight indeed.

My guilty pleasure is and always will be New York... It's just a crazy place and I love it
As you can see from above, I recently had the chance to go up the new tower and captured this image - I hope you like it and will understand why I have posted it

Once a very common sight at CDG, these E145 are now a rare sight, not even a single one flying to CDG on a regular basis.

April 2013 A month in 30 Pictures: Day 26
So many Roseate Spoonbills in Merritt Island, what a wonderful sight. This was a common appearance through out the park.
Miyajima, an island in Hiroshima Bay, is most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on top of the water. The sight is ranked as one of Japan's three best views.
We spent two days on this island, and though the famous floating torii of Itsukushima Shrine is a major attraction, there are plenty of other things to do and see on the island.
While we had intended to photograph this at sunrise, which also happened to correspond to high tide, this is a post-sunset shot. We were here for two sunrises: the first one was an overcast dud and the second one was likely quite nice but we slept through it. So no sunrise shots worth sharing, but a few sunset ones instead. Unfortunately the tide was rather low at sunset, but it did allow for some reflections in the wet sand.
I've taken a rather heavy hand to processing this. The Cokin ND 8x filter I used to even out the water reflection imparted a bit of extra red/pink into the image, which I brought out even more. The result isn't exactly what I really saw, but I'll be curious to get any feedback anyone has.

Hildebrandt's starling (Lamprotornis hildebrandti) is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae.
Hildebrandt's starling is found in Kenya and Tanzania, where it occupies open country between 500 and 2,200 m (1,600 and 7,200 ft). Its habitat is open woodland and open thornbrush country. The species is often recorded as being uncommon, but it varies from being fairly common to fairly uncommon.
The Hildebrandt's Starling looks very similar to the Superb Starling but is missing the white necklace on its neck and its eyes are red whilst the Superb Starling has white eyes.
This beautiful Starling was captured on a photography safari during an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, Kenya.
